‘LPBW’: Tori Roloff Just Explained She Doesn’t ‘Love Being Pregnant’
With nearly 15 years of the Roloff family featured on TV, Little People, Big World certainly has a special place in our hearts. We’ve been following Matt and Amy Roloff since their four kids were little, and a ton has changed since then. Not only are Matt and Amy divorced and working out their current living situations, but two of their kids, Zach and Jeremy, have wives and kids of their own. And both of them are expecting babies in the next nine months, too.
Tori Roloff, Zach’s wife, gets particularly candid with her followers on Instagram. And she’s been quite open and honest with her second pregnancy more recently. Here’s what she said about prepping for another baby and why she doesn’t love the process.
Tori Roloff has already spoken about how her second pregnancy is different than her first
Pregnancy is never easy, and when you’re in the public eye, it can be even more difficult. Even so, Tori Roloff takes everything in stride and aims to be totally open with how she’s feeling to build trust and connection with her fan base. On her Instagram page, she frequently posts about Jackson, her 2-year-old son who has the same type of dwarfism that Zach has. But now that she’s preparing for a daughter to arrive this November, she’s also getting real with how her second pregnancy is different and more difficult than her first.
During an Instagram Q&A, she recently dished to fans about how even getting pregnant the second time around took quite a bit of time. She said it took “8 months” of trying, which gave her a serious appreciation for women and the struggles they go through. Not only that, but she also added that her pregnancy with Jackson was way easier in comparison. “I had no symptoms with j other than egg aversions. I’ve got all the symptoms this time,” she wrote.
She recently said she doesn’t necessarily enjoy being pregnant
Tori’s an amazing mother, and her fans tell her all the time how excited they are to see another Roloff featured on her Instagram in November. And while Tori’s surely excited to have her baby, she also recently wrote on the ‘gram that being pregnant isn’t all sunshine and rainbows.
“I really didn’t want to take maternity photos. Im not one of those women who loves being pregnant. In fact there’s not a lot of times I do love being pregnant,” she captioned this Instagram post of her holding her baby belly. “Don’t get me wrong. I thank God for this amazing gift every single day and I know how blessed I am but it definitely hasn’t made me feel my best,” she added. And she then went on to write that while she wasn’t totally convinced that she wanted to have maternity photos, she’s happy her friends and family talked her into getting them. “This photo truly embodies what I LOVE about pregnancy. My growing bump is a symbol of a healthy girlsie. It’s a reminder that I’m in a position that many women dream of and trust me- I do not take it for granted.”
Fans are giving their support
Despite her hesitation in getting the maternity photos, Tori is clearly glowing — and fans took to the comments to remind the mom how much they appreciate her candidness. As one follower commented, “speaking truth. you can hate being pregnant and still love the baby, like I can hate breastfeeding and still love the baby. You living in freedom allows me to live in freedom.” Another wrote, “I think you can recognize the difficulties of pregnancy and still be grateful for it — they’re not mutually exclusive. This photograph is stunning and you are glowing. Embrace your feelings, no matter what they are.”
There’s no doubt we’re all anxiously awaiting the arrival of Zach and Tori’s daughter. Not only that, but Jeremy and Audrey Roloff also just announced their second child is a baby boy. It looks like there’ll be plenty to look forward to on future seasons of LPBW!
