Luke P.’s Sister-In-Law Says Bachelorette Hannah Brown Should Have Given Luke ‘A Chance To Speak’

During the “Men Tell All” episode last week, a clip from Greece was shown that involved Luke Parker showing up at the fantasy suite rose ceremony despite having been eliminated. When Hannah Brown saw him, she asked him why he was there. He told her he needed to speak with her. Brown declined, saying that she had already made her decision and he needed to respect that. It wasn’t until the three remaining contestants, Peter Weber, Tyler Cameron, and Jed Wyatt, and Chris Harrison intervened that Parker agreed to leave.

Parker’s sister-in-law, Hannah Parker, had some thoughts about the clip and took to her Instagram stories to express her feelings.

Luke P.’s sister-in-law thinks Luke ‘should have left a long time ago’

First, she addressed Brown’s apology: “Howdy! So, the Luke P. show is over and I am so excited. Thank the Lord we made it out alive, everyone’s doing ok, we’re just thankful it’s over with. Can I get an Amen?”

Then, she went back and shared her thoughts on why Luke returned to the rose ceremony despite having been eliminated.

“Ok let’s talk about Luke going back. So Luke went back I think to have a chance to explain why he said the things that he said to Hannah on their fantasy suite date since Hannah never gave him a chance to speak to why he said the things that he said and I think America would have liked to have heard that, too. So that’s why Luke went back,” she said, despite Luke saying he went back because he still wanted to be with Brown (he had a ring to propose to her).

Hannah Parker continued: “Now as far as Hannah saying ‘no’ and not giving Luke an opportunity to talk to her, I think that was pretty childish and she should have just stepped to the side and talked to Luke then handled it that way. But it’s unfortunate that it went down the way that it did. I think Luke should have left a long time ago but that’s what I have to say about that part of this episode.”

Why Hannah Parker wishes Brown would have given Luke a chance to speak when she also wishes Luke would have “left a long time ago” we’re not exactly sure. Perhaps she thought Luke might have said something to save his reputation, but the controversial contestant doesn’t exactly have the best history when it comes to making unproblematic statements.

Why Hannah Brown didn’t let Luke P. talk to her at the fantasy suite rose ceremony

Brown didn’t let Luke speak when he showed up to the fantasy suite rose ceremony because she had already sent him home. She had all the clarity she needed regarding their relationship and she wasn’t going to be convinced otherwise. Luke attending the rose ceremony after being eliminated just shows how little he respected Brown’s wants.

“I feel like the relationship that I had with Luke, unfortunately, it’s a relationship that a lot of women can relate to. A lot of women have been in toxic relationships and maybe, just maybe, me going through that and being able to remember my worth and figure that out for myself can help somebody that’s in that now see the signs of that and, ultimately, that makes me realize that I don’t have regrets because that was worth all of it,” Brown said of her relationship with Luke during “Men Tell All.”
