This is the major difference in how Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle approach royal life
Kate Middleton began dating Prince William when she was in her late teens which means she had about a decade of being around the prince and the royal family before she officially became a member. That is one of the reasons she wanted to get away from being cooped up at Kensington Palace because she felt that all four of them together, it was too much, she wanted breathing space away so she could be herself and run her own sort of show as it were. She is her own person and wants to continue to operate in that environment.

Now that Markle and Prince Harry are expecting their first child in late April or early May 2019 –the ladies will have even more to talk about soon.
