A lot of celebrities are big fans of Halloween. And what’s better than a couple’s costume? A family costume! Take a look at the famous families who did Halloween 2019 right.

Law & Order: SVU star Mariska Hargitay is married to Younger actor Peter Hermann. And the two have an adorable crew, consisting of sons August and Andrew and daughter Amaya.

For Halloween, this crew went with a group costume that’s both age-appropriate and a little on the spooky side. They dressed up as the characters from the Disney Channel franchise Descendants, about the children of famous Disney villains.

Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, and family

No one does Halloween like the Kardashians. They usually have multiple outfits per season, most a little on the revealing side, to say the least. But since having children, they’ve decided to incorporate their offspring, leading to even more fun results.

Kim, Kanye, and the Kardashian-West brood went with a playful concept this year: The Flintstones! However, as Kardashian explains in the caption, Chicago (as Pebbles) had to be Photoshopped in, because she was scarred on West in his Dino costume. It’s pretty obvious, but what can you do? Unless, of course, it wasn’t West in the costume at all…

James Van Der Beek and family

You definitely know that James Van Der Beek was once the titular movie-obsessed young adult on Dawson’s Creek. You may also have known that he’s been married to his second wife, Kimberly, for nine years. But what you may not have known is that they have five children, and one on the way!

The Van Der Beek crew went with an array of costumes, from a traditional witch and pumpkin to the actor’s own punk rock look and Kimberly’s gothic artist style. Clearly, they’re having a good time.

Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss and Allison Holker

Ellen DeGeneres’ right-hand man and his wife, So You Think You Can Dance all-star Allison Holker, have been married for several years. The two dancers met back on SYTYCD, and have been together ever since.

This creative couple never disappoints with their weekly dances, but they got extra spooky this week by adding in their brood: Weslie, Holker’s daughter from a previous relationship, and their son, Maddox. They decided to dress up as the family from Us, and we’ve got to say, they’re scaring us with how good they look.

Mario Lopez’s family

While TV host Mario Lopez and his wife, Courtney, didn’t dress up, their kids (and dog) took it to a new level. You’ll recall that before he became the Extra (and now Access Hollywood) frontman, Lopez starred in a little TV series called Saved By the Bell as AC Slater.

Paying tribute to the series (and it’s new reboot, which Lopez is executive producing), Lopez’s daughter, Gia, dressed up as Kelly Kapowski, while his eldest son, Dominic, was a perfect Preppy (Lopez’s character’s nickname for Mark-Paul Gosselaar’s Zack Morris). As for Slater himself? That honor went to his infant son, Santino.

Gabrielle Union, Dwayne Wade, and family

Actress Gabrielle Union celebrates her birthday just two days before Halloween, so she’s all about the holiday. For her first costume, she got everyone talking with her recreation of her infamous Bring It On cheerleader uniform. But there was more to come.

For Halloween itself, Union and her husband, former NBA athlete Dwyane Wade, went back to their roots, dressing up as a flower in a pot (Union) and a cactus (Wade). Their daughter Kaavia, was a flower like her mom. Too precious.
