The doctors are in. Married to Medicine is back for another drama-filled season on Bravo, and your favorite doctors and doctors wives have returned. A new friend is also joining the show.
Brand new episodes of the reality series begin airing Sunday, September 8 on Bravo. Here’s what to expect from the upcoming season of Married to Medicine.
A new friend on ‘Married to Medicine’
Dr. Jacqueline Walters, Dr. Simone Whitmore, Dr. Heavenly Kimes, Toya Bush-Harris, Quad Webb, Dr. Contessa Metcalfe, and Mariah Huq are all back for the new season of Married to Medicine. Plus, new friend Buffie Purselle is also joining the show.
Purselle is a tax and personal finance professional who’s appeared on HLN, CNN, and CNBC. According to her Bravo bio, she demystifies the world of taxes, personal finances, and small business management for her clients. Perhaps she’ll end up doing the same for the ladies on the show, some of whom have struggled with their finances.
Purselle is also married to an M.D. Her husband Dr. David Purselle is an Atlanta psychiatrist, and she helps run his medical practice, Georgia Psychiatric Consultants. Her motto? “If you look for the bad in people you will surely find it,” so Purselle has decided to focus on the good.
What else to expect from the new season of ‘Married to Medicine’
A new friend isn’t the only change on this season of Married to Medicine. Dr. Jackie is building a brand new practice and moving into a new home with her husband Curtis as the pair continue to work on rebuilding their marriage after he cheated on her. But has he really reformed? “You look like you’re not telling the whole truth,” Dr. Jackie says in the show’s trailer.
Dr. Heavenly and her husband Dr. Damon are also expanding their business by opening a surgical center. Dr. Simone and her husband Cecil are enjoying their family life together as he takes on a new role as his wife’s assistant.
Dr. Contessa also has exciting new things on the horizon. She’s gone back to school to get a master’s degree and is opening a new clinic with her husband Scott. Meanwhile, Toya and Eugene are considering adding a new member to their family and are also moving into a new home, while Mariah and Aydin are dealing with their kids growing up as Mariah focuses on opening a new boutique in her hometown.
Quad is also in a new phase of life. She’s officially single, having finalized her divorce from Dr. Gregory Lunceford, and has gone back to using her maiden name. In May, she released a cookbook called Cooking with Miss Quad: Live, Laugh, Love, and Eat, and this season she’s “living her best life and feeling liberated,” according to Bravo.
Season 7 of Married to Medicine premieres Sunday, September 8 at 9/8c on Bravo.
