Matthew Perry Throws Shade at ‘The Bachelor’ on Instagram

Good news, Friends fans! Matthew Perry is finally on Instagram. While his account is still very new, the Chandler Bing actor has been extremely active. Whether or not he actually knows how to use the social media platform is still up for debate.

Many fans are speculating that Perry is still unfamiliar with the public-ness of Instagram, based on some very troll-like comments he has left recently — particularly because one comment pertaining to The Bachelor.

Matthew Perry joins Instagram

On Feb. 7, Perry joined countless other celebrities who share and interact with their fans on Instagram. His inaugural post was a clip of Chandler dancing about with the caption: “This is how thrilled I am to finally be on Instagram. So, here we go.”

After a few weeks, Perry had accumulated 6.1 million followers. Friends fans can thank his girlfriend, Molly Hurwitz, for Perry’s arrival on the social platform. With the Friends reunion coming up, Perry’s talent manager girlfriend thought it would be a good idea for him to share more of himself on Instagram.

While Perry has been active on Twitter for many years, he mostly posted a line or two and very few photos. Now, he’s on Instagram and giving fans a behind-the-scenes glimpse of his life.

Perry doesn’t seem to be a fan of the hit ABC series. When E-News posted a shot of the Weber family to their Instagram account, Perry had a few choice words for their programming.

The photo was of former Bachelor Peter Weber, and his parents, Barbara and Peter Weber, Sr. E-News used the post to promote the “showdown” that would occur between Barbara and Madison Prewett during The Bachelor finale.

Perry asked in his comment: “What has happened to show business?” and fans went wild. Perry’s comment received more than 1,000 likes and those who don’t particularly enjoy The Bachelor rallied behind him in support.

One person replied, “Ugh, I know right? Could she BEEEE anymore of a nightmare?” about Weber’s mom. Another said, “this is what it’s come to lol.”

It seems as though Perry is still getting used to the whole social media thing. On Mar. 15, Perry was perplexed by a post from co-star Courteney Cox, commenting: “Hi honey, what the h*ll just happened?”
