‘Mayans MC’ Season 4 Kills off [Spoiler], Igniting ‘Sons of Anarchy’ War
The Mayans MC have been on the brink of an all-out war with the Sons of Anarchy in season 4. The Sons discovered the Mayans involvement in Montez’s death and they won’t be forgiving that any time soon. In episode 5, The Sons took their revenge. They opened fire on the Mayans, leaving one important character dead.

Coco died in ‘Mayans MC’ Season 4 Episode 5
Tensions have been rising between the Sons of Anarchy and the Mayans M.C. for quite some time. The Mayans didn’t directly kill Sons of Anarchy Road Captain Montez, but they did cover up his death and hide his body. In Mayans MC Season 4, Jess found Montez’s kutte and brought it to SAMDINO. With this revelation, even Chibs’ approved war against the Mayans.
In episode 5, the Mayans celebrated their fallen brothers as one club, though a fistfight did ensue. Meanwhile, Hope is having a difficult time. While working as a cashier at a supermarket, she breaks down and smashes a rude customer’s groceries in front of her. Hope later calls her boyfriend Coco, telling him she thinks she needs help.
The couple talks over their phone, confessing their love for each other. Unfortunately, shortly after Coco hangs up he is ambushed. The Sons of Anarchy arrive and open fire into a crowd of people, leaving Coco and several other Mayans dead. Now there’s going to be hell to pay.
War has begun between the Mayans and Sons
Promos for the upcoming episodes of Mayans MC Season 4 show that EZ is out for revenge. “A brother got hit,” he tells the club. Alvarez seems resistant to starting a war with the Son of Anarchy. However, Manny asks EZ, “You gonna lead us or what?”
With war on the horizon, at least one major Sons of Anarchy character will be returning. Actor Kim Coates recently teased his return to the show on Twitter, writing, “I’m Back. Like really back. The war is on ..keep watching peeps… shit is about to explode …SOA vs MMC.”
It’s not clear exactly when Tig will show up. One promo shows him talking to Alvarez saying, “What we do, it can get ugly, but it’s what we do.” For now, Coates isn’t revealing when he will finally pop up.
The actor wrote on Twitter, “Also side note…I can’t tell you how many episodes Mr. Tiggy appears in this season 4 of @MayansFX … but if not tonight then next week. If not next week then week after. If not week after…You get the idea … those boys n girls are killing it on that show with or without me.”
‘Mayans MC’ fans react to Coco’s death
Coco actor Richard Cabral has been on Mayans MC for quite some time and his character death is a big one in season 4. “Pissed that they did Coco like that. Had a bad feeling last episode when Alvarez sent him to Oakland to begin with and as soon as he called Hope I knew he was gone,” one Reddit user wrote. “It’s really disappointing to see CoCo go out the way he did,” another wrote. The aftermath of Coco’s death is certainly going to be rough for the Mayans and for Hope.
New episodes of Mayans MC Season 4 air Tuesday nights at 10 p.m. EST on FX.
