Meghan Markle and Prince Harry and More Celebrity Couples Who Were Set Up by Friends

The world has been in a tizzy since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced their highly anticipated engagement. The stunning couple, who have been dating for about a year and a half, will wed in spring 2018. Though Prince Harry has grown up in the spotlight, Markle, who is an actress and philanthropist, has led a fairly low-key life, despite her success on the mega-hit USA series Suits. Now, the 36-year-old is about to move to the U.K. permanently, take on a royal title, and become a British citizen.

The romance looked like a whirlwind. However, it all started with a blind date set up by a mutual friend of the couples. Here are 15 celebrity couples whose friends also played matchmakers in their romantic lives.
