Meghan Markle has a ton of things on her plate. The Duchess of Sussex has just stepped out of the spotlight to begin her maternity leave, but she’s still extremely busy. Markle is due to give birth to Baby Sussex in late April or early May. However, before then — she and Prince Harry are moving from their 2-bedroom flat at Kensington Palace in London to their 10-bedroom estate, Frogmore House in Windsor.
In addition to getting settled in their new home —the duke and duchess just split their household away from Prince William and Duchess Kate Middleton. With a ton of work and a baby on the way –Markle’s royal staff is in a frenzy to keep up. Unfortunately, the Duchess of Sussex is set to lose yet another royal staff member once Baby Sussex is born.

Though she was a famous actress who was used to the public spotlight, being a royal brings very different pressures. An insider told the Daily Mail, “Even though [Meghan] was a famous actress, she could still do what she wanted in the way of getting around freely, But in her current role she can’t go anywhere without her protection team, and that’s a massive constraining force on an individual like her.”
Though Markle might work at her own speed and walk to the beat of her own drum, she certainly isn’t difficult to work with or for. A royal insider told ET, “She has many loyal aides that enjoy working with her and are impressed by her commitment to humanitarian initiatives and her openness to learning from seasoned courtiers and Palace staff about royal protocol.”
