Queen Elizabeth and Meghan Markle appear to have a close relationship as daughter- and grandmother-in-law. However, the Duchess of Sussex’s celebrity friends could tarnish her chances at continued approval from Her Majesty. Royals see baby showers as highly inappropriate, as they can go out and purchase items for a royal baby themselves. Although her friends paid for her baby shower, the queen might not have approved of the festivities.
At the end of the day, all her friends did was throw her a baby shower.
