Meghan Markle Had to Win Back Queen Elizabeth’s Trust After This Royal Blunder

Meghan Markle wasn’t on the best terms with Queen Elizabeth following her extravagant baby shower in New York earlier this year. Inside sources claim that Her Majesty was very disappointed with the shower and the negative press it generated. Markle has had the better part of a year to win back Queen Elizabeth’s trust, and her recent trip to New York proves that she has learned a thing or two since giving birth to Archie.

Meghan Markle breaks Queen Elizabeth’s trust

Markle took a lot of heat for throwing a baby shower in New York. Although the royal family did not pay for the event, pundits argued that it was not something you normally see from a royal.

Not only did the shower cost thousands of dollars to pull off, but it also featured a slew of celebrities, including Markle’s good friend, Serena Williams. With some of Hollywood’s elite in attendance, the only thing the shower was missing was a red carpet.

Members of the royal family usually keep a tight lid on things and do not like to draw attention to themselves, unless it is a scheduled public appearance.

Apart from the financial aspects of the party, Queen Elizabeth was reportedly unhappy with how it made headlines around the world. The coverage was not very positive, which did not go over well with Her Majesty.

While sources claim that Queen Elizabeth was disappointed by Markle’s actions, she has won back her trust over the past six months.

How did Markle win back Queen Elizabeth?

According to International Business Times, palace advisors told Markle that she needs to keep things more low-key, especially when she visits America.

That’s exactly what Meghan Markle did a few weeks back when she visited New York to attend Williams’ tennis match at the U.S. Open.

“This trip was the opposite of the last trip to New York City, Meghan did not stay in a fancy hotel and she did not go out after the tennis match with Serena and her family. Instead, Meghan kept a really low-profile, with the exception of going to a yoga class, naturally,” a source revealed.

The source added that Markle stayed out of the public eye for the majority of the trip and even managed to appear at a birthday party without anyone noticing.

It was just last September that we launched the ‘Together’ cookbook with the women of the Hubb Kitchen in Grenfell. Today, a year later, I am excited to celebrate the launch of another initiative of women supporting women, and communities working together for the greater good. Thank you to the four brands who came together in supporting Smart Works on this special project – placing purpose over profit and community over competition. In convening several companies rather than one, we’ve demonstrated how we can work collectively to empower each other – another layer to this communal success story, that I am so proud to be a part of” – The Duchess of Sussex The collection – which features a shirt, trousers, blazer, dress and tote bag – will be on sale for two weeks starting today, with the objective of selling enough units to give Smart Works the essentials they need to help dress clients for the coming year! She also slipped by the media when she got on her flight back to London, which is an achievement in and of itself. The only time Markle made any news was during Williams’ tennis match.

The fact that Meghan Markle was able to visit the Big Apple without stirring up trouble completely won back Queen Elizabeth’s trust. It also helped that Prince Harry stayed home because it proved that Markle could handle things herself.

Although Markle got back on Queen Elizabeth’s good side, she really won her over with her recent trip to South Africa.

Inside Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s tour of South Africa

Markle and Prince Harry kicked off their tour of South Africa last week and are now at the last leg of their journey. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have visited various countries along the way and even split up to do solo events this week.

They also arrived in South Africa with their baby son, Archie, making this their first trip abroad as a family of three.

So far, the couple has generated a lot of positive buzz throughout the tour, which is something Queen Elizabeth allegedly loves.

Royal expert Neil Sean says that Her Majesty is thrilled by what Prince Harry and Markle are doing in South Africa and cannot be happier about the positive PR the tour has generated.

If Queen Elizabeth had any reservations about Markle, the South Africa trip has completely won her over.

For the Sussexes, this could not have come at a better time. The couple has faced a lot of criticism over the past year and was in desperate need of some good media coverage.

has come to an end, but The Duke and Duchess have had the opportunity to look back on an incredible 10 days through South Africa, Botswana, Angola and Malawi. Thank you for following along! Their Royal Highness’s journey took them 15,000 miles across southern Africa where they we’re greeted by so many amazing people along the way. They witnessed the great partnership between the UK and Africa, met local community groups, leaders, and youth and elders, who all imparted knowledge and inspiration. On their final day of the tour, The Duchess said: “Please know that you have all given us so much inspiration, so much hope – and above all, you have given us joy.” • During their tour, The Duke and Duchess unveiled three new Queens Commonwealth Canopy projects, protecting forests and planting trees, and worked with the British Government to announce investment of £8m in technology and skills in the region. The Duke traveled to Angola to focus on the ongoing mission to rid the world of landmines, an extension of the work that was pioneered by his mother, Diana, Princess of Wales. The Duchess announced gender grants from the Association of Commonwealth Universities to improve access to higher education for women, as well as four scholarships for students studying across the commonwealth. Throughout this trip they were able to join an important and essential conversation about the rights of women and girls – not isolated to Southern Africa, but also globally. Throughout this visit, The Duke and Duchess were struck by the spirit and generosity from every community they visited. Speaking to young entrepreneurs in Tembisa, a township in Johannesburg, The Duke said: “As I raise my own son, I want to make sure that what I’ve learned here – the value of the natural world, the value of community and friendship – is something that I can pass on to him.” • Thank you to everyone who supported from afar, and those who have followed along the way! The tour also coincides with Prince Harry’s new lawsuit against the Daily Mail and its parent company. Prince Harry recently released a statement condemning the tabloid for publishing one of Markle’s private letters.

He also defended Markle and blasted the media for how they continuously spread rumors about her.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have not commented on the rumors regarding Queen Elizabeth’s broken trust. They are expected to return home in the coming days.
