Meghan Markle Is Handling Royal Life Much Better Than People Think

The American-born Duchess of Sussex has led an interesting life in the last few years. Meghan Markle went from being an American actress on the hit TV show, Suits, to all of the sudden, being a full-fledged member of the royal family.

Even though Meghan had a successful acting career, she was definitely not used to the level of attention that she is getting now that she has married Prince Harry

The media has now taken a special interest in Meghan and they seem to love to scrutinize every move that she makes. Since she has been thrust in the spotlight, there have been several rumors that swirling around about how difficult of a time she is having adjusting to life as a royal and how she is having a hard time getting along with her new royal family members.

But many people are wondering if these rumors are actually true and if Meghan really is having a hard time adjusting to royal life. Well, in order to finally put the rumors to rest, here is everything that we know about how Meghan is handling the royal life.

Despite what some rumors have suggested in the past, it looks as if Meghan Markle is handling her royal duties like a seasoned pro. Since day one, she has been very diligent about attending different functions and making sure to regularly help out at several different charities. As soon as Meghan and Harry said their “I do’s,” the duchess was ready to start tackling her new patronages.

Within six months of marrying Harry, Meghan Markle had visited several charities, delivered heartfelt speeches, and had even helped to create a cookbook that was being sold to help the victims of the Grenfell Tower fire. She has really hit the ground running when it came to her royal work and didn’t slow down, even when she was pregnant. Meghan had continued to travel and work while she was in the third trimester of her pregnancy.

What does Queen Elizabeth II think of Meghan Markle?

It came as no surprise to many that Meghan Markle was such a diligent worker. After all, she has been working hard and standing up for what she believes in since she was 7 years old. However, there were many rumors swirling around about how some people in the royal family felt threatened by Meghan’s go get ’em attitude, but there has never been any factual evidence to back any of those statements up.

Instead, it seems like the opposite is happening. There have been many reports that have stated that Queen Elizabeth II is actually quite impressed with Meghan’s work ethic.

When Meghan was still pregnant with baby Archie, she was still touring the world in order to carry out her royal duties. According to Vanity Fair, the queen has taken notice and is very happy with the way Meghan continued to work throughout her pregnancy.

“The queen is amazed by the duchess’s energy and stamina given that she is so heavily pregnant,” a palace insider had told Vanity Fair. “For the queen and her generation, you generally hid your bump and put your feet up in this stage of the pregnancy, but Meghan hasn’t stopped.”

Spotlight on: Smart Works We are proud to be supporting a very special initiative this autumn for @SmartWorksCharity! After quiet visits to Smartworks over the last year, The Duchess was moved by the impactful work being done by this non profit organisation that helps women into the workforce, equipping them with both the skills and clothes they need to feel job-ready. Throughout her visits she noticed that while the donations were plentiful, they were also notably a combination of mismatched items and colours which weren’t always the right stylistic choices or sizes that didn’t necessarily “suit” the job at hand: to make a woman feel confident and inspired as she walked into her job interview. As a result, launching this autumn, The Duchess will be supporting a collective to help equip the women of Smart Works with the key workwear essentials they need as they enter into the workplace. This initiative is supported by four generous brands who share the vision to empower the women of Smart Works to look and feel as they bravely venture in to what can often be a daunting environment for those who have been out of the job market. The brands have come together to work towards this united force for good, “[reframing] the idea of charity as community,” as The Duchess writes in a piece for this month’s British Vogue. They will follow the 1:1 model where an item from the collection purchased is an item shared with a woman of Smart Works because “not only does this allow us to be part of each other’s story; it reminds us we are in it together.” For more information on how you can be part of another woman’s success story visit @smartworkscharity. Special thanks to: @JohnLewisandPartners, @MarksandSpencer, @MishaNonoo, @InsideJigsaw for supporting this very special organisation. It seems like no matter what Meghan does, the media will always have a way to twist the truth and make it look like she is struggling with her new life or that she is being perceived as somewhat of an outcast by her new royal family. However, when you actually see Meghan at an event or working with a charity, she always looks very confident and happy with where she is and what she is doing.

Not only does her strong work ethic seem to impress her in-laws, but it also seems to make her extremely happy to have so many worthy causes that she is able to pour her energy into.

So, even though the media may say that Meghan is having a hard time adjusting to her royal life, by all accounts, it looks as if she is adjusting just fine and fitting in quite well.
