While the cost of Meghan Markle’s pregnancy wardrobe is alarming and probably makes her less frugal than her sister-in-law, the Duchess of Sussex has other spending habits that saves her money.

While it appears Meghan Markle might spend a little more than her sister-in-law, both royal women favor affordable fashion brands and wear them often. Some of Kate Middleton’s go-tos include Zara and J. Crew while Meghan Markle loves Aritzia, Mother Denim, and has even worn an H&M ensemble.

Although Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle married into the royal family, they fit right in with (some of) their spending habits. Despite having the funds to pay for an extravagant life, many members of the royal family — especially Queen Elizabeth — are considered very frugal.
