Meghan Markle & Kate Middleton Have Both Secretly Visited This Place

Plenty of young children grow up wanting to become princesses, but Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton are proving that the job of a royal is far from easy. Both Markle and Middleton are subject to intense scrutiny and criticism for each and every move that they make. In addition to that, they have very minimal privacy. Despite Markle’s insistence that her son, Archie, will be raised as a private citizen, she and Prince Harry still deal with reporters following his (and their) every move.

The royals are constantly in the news

Because of the intense scrutiny that the royal family gets, it’s rare that they are able to do anything without the public knowing. Recently, royal fans were floored to learn that Markle made a secret visit to New York with Archie to visit her long-time close friend, Serena Williams. But, a trip to the big apple isn’t the only place that Markle has visited in secret. Both she and her sister-in-law, alongside their husbands, have both made multiple visits to the headquarters for Crisis Text Line.

Crisis Text Line

Crisis Text Line is a 24/7 non-for-profit organization operating in both the U.S. and Canada which seeks to provide those in need with free crisis intervention through text message. As fans of the younger generation of royals may know, Markle, Prince Harry, Prince William, and Middleton are all passionate about mental health and increasing awareness of mental health issues in the U.K. Earlier this year, the four royals joined forces to launch a similar organization to Crisis Text Line called Shout.

“We feel that Shout is so important. It’s able to offer support when it’s crucially needed, and the opportunity to turn lives around. It also provides that wonderful opportunity for flexible volunteering, something I feel really passionate about too,” Middleton shared with the crowd during the Shout launch event. But, before launching the service, the royals worked diligently behind the scenes, doing the necessary research to make sure that Shout was the best it could possibly be. Part of that research included multiple trips to the Crisis Text Line Offices for Markle and Middleton.

“They have been into our offices, I think, four times, at this point in time, quietly without anyone knowing,” Nancy Lublin confessed, who is the founder and CEO of Crisis Text Line. Lublin also shared that she was “so grateful” to the royals for highlighting the service that the text line provides. She also shared that Markle, Prince Harry, Prince William, and Middleton have all volunteered at Shout events in secret.

The young royals are passionate about mental health

“They’ve been to this event without anyone knowing last year. They are really here for the work,” Lublin shared about they royals. Lublin continued on to share that she felt that Middleton, Markle, and their husbands have “thrown themselves into hard issues.” She continued on to share that they take the work very seriously and are curious in learning how they can constantly continue to improve the service. It’s great that the young royals have teamed up for something as important as mental health. We could all do with a little more news about this and a lot less about their alleged feud.
