This Is What Meghan Markle’s ‘Suits’ Co-Star Patrick J. Adams Said About Their Kids Playdates

Before she was a member of the British Royal Family, Meghan Markle was a Hollywood actress known for her role as the whip-smart Rachel Zane on the popular USA drama, Suits. On the series, Markle starred opposite Patrick J. Adams, who portrayed Mike Ross, a talented college dropout who weasels his way into an affluent NYC law firm.

Markle starred on the show with Adams for seven seasons until they both left the series in 2018. Still, Markle is very close to Adams and all of her co-stars. Many of the Suits clan even attended her May 2018 wedding to Prince Harry. Now that Adams has an infant daughter and Markle is set to welcome her first child in the coming weeks, the Canadian actor joked about play dates with the British Royal Family.

Patrick J. Adams joked about playdates between his and Meghan Markle’s kids

Recently, while at the Good for a Laugh benefit at Largo at the Coronet in Los Angeles– Entertainment Tonight caught up with Adams to ask about playdates between his little girl and Baby Sussex. Adams joked, “Maybe at her house. It’s a little bigger.”

When asked if he’s shared any parenting advice with the duchess the actor said, “We’ve shared exactly zero tips with her because I don’t think Meghan needs any tips about anything.” Adams’ wife, Pretty Little Liars alum, Troian Bellisario added, ” She looks like she knows what she’s doing,” Still, Adams did congratulate his former leading lady saying, “But Meghan, I’m super happy for you. It’s the greatest thing that will ever happen to you, having a baby, so we hope everybody’s happy and healthy.”

Will Meghan Markle ever appear on Suits again?

When Meghan Markle got engaged to Prince Harry in Nov. 2017, she left her life in North America behind, gave up her career as an actress, her lifestyle blog, The Tig and all of her social media accounts. Still, there have been recent rumors swirling that the duchess could make a cameo appearance on Suits in the future. Tabloids were abuzz that NBC Universal offered to make a charitable donation worth millions if Meghan returned for a cameo appearance.

However, it seems like those were just rumors. As a working royal, Markle isn’t allowed to hold another job. Also with a jam-packed schedule full of charitable visits, events, royal tours, and a baby on the way, we don’t see how the Duchess of Sussex would even have time to return to the Suits set, even if she was allowed to. Still, Patrick J. Adams might make an appearance during the final season of the series. He told Entertainment Tonight, “We’re trying to figure it out and see if it’s possible. I hope so.”
