It sometimes appears as if Markle was born for the spotlight. This may be hard to believe, but she had actually made her first television debut when she was just 11 years old. Markle appeared on the popular ’90s Nickelodeon news program called Nick News after she had publicly voiced her opinion about how sexist some of the commercials were back then. She had even written a letter to Procter & Gamble Company and encouraged them to make their commercials more gender-neutral.

Quite a few years later, Markle realized that her dreams included being in front of the camera full time. She went on to appear in a handful of movies and TV shows for a little over a decade. Some of the TV shows that she appeared on include, The War at Home and CIS: New York in 2006, Deal or No Deal in 2007, 90210‘s reboot in 2008, The League in 2009, and CSI: Miami in 2010. Also in 2010, she had a small part in the movie Remember Me, starring Robert Pattinson. She eventually got a starring role on the hit TV series Suits that she continued to play until she and Harry got together in 2016.

Meghan Markle is comfortable in front of the spotlight

Although Markle is very comfortable being put on center stage, she also tries very hard to make sure that she is not stealing the spotlight from her husband. Whenever Prince Harry and Markle are seen in public together, Markle can usually be seen gently placing her hand on her husband’s back in order to subtly nudge him in front of her. According to body language expert, Judy James, Markle is doing this as a way to ensure that Prince Harry is still front and center because she never wants to upstage him in public.

In the past, Prince Harry has had a hard time finding a romantic partner that handle the kinds of pressures that come with being a royal. It is rumored that he and ex-girlfriend Chelsy Davy had split-up because she could not handle being the limelight.

According to reports, when Prince Harry found out that Markle was able to handle being in the limelight with such ease, he was determined to never let her go. It was also reported that Prince Harry had “begged” Markle to move in with him after they had only been dating for about six months because he was afraid that continuing in a long-distance relationship may have caused them to grow apart and he was desperate never to lose his relationship with Markle.

Markle ended up moving in with him a few months later and the couple continues to appear happier than ever.
