Miley Cyrus Comes for Liam Hemsworth Again With Instagram Comment

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth had a short-lived marriage. Their relationship was always stormy, with multiple breakups and reunions. It even included a called-off engagement before the two got married.

Now, with their split official and behind them, it seems they still feel bitterness over what went down. Cyrus has been throwing shade at Hemsworth relatively frequently since their relationship ended, and it a recent Instagram comment makes it seem as if she’s not done dragging her marriage to Hemsworth just yet.

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth call it quits

In December of 2018, Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus decided to tie the knot after nine years of on-and-off-again dating. The marriage was small and intimate, but unfortunately, it didn’t last long. Only eight months after their union, the two decided to call it quits.

A representative of Miley Cyrus told People, “Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time. Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers. They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart. Please respect their process and privacy.”

Cyrus has also called their marriage “complex and modern,” and expressed an ongoing attraction to women during her relationship with Hemsworth — factors that likely influenced their decision to split after eight months of marriage.

Cyrus has previously told Elle that she feels as if she doesn’t fit into the typical gender-roled conception of a wife. “People become vegetarian for health reasons, but bacon is still f–ing good, and I know that. I made a partner decision. This is the person I feel has my back the most. I definitely don’t fit into a stereotypical wife role. I don’t even like that word,” she said.

Miley Cyrus makes a shady Instagram comment

Matty Mo, an artist interested in viral art projects, recently posted in his Instagram bio that he intends to marry Miley Cyrus in 2020. As reported by Page Six, he wrote, “Getting married to Miley Cyrus in 2020.”

He screencapped his bio and posted it to his Instagram with the comment, “Upping my manifestation game for 2020 and putting this out there.” He also tagged Miley Cyrus.

Miley Cyrus got in on the fun herself. In an unsubtle jab at her own failed marriage to Liam Hemsworth, Cyrus replied, “It probably won’t last long. But always down to try, You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.”

While making a joke at her own expense, she also managed to throw some light shade at Hemsworth. But Cyrus has been more direct with her shade in the past.

Not her first instance of Instagram shade

Miley Cyrus previously made some comments during an Instagram live session that many fans interpreted as being directed at Liam Hemsworth.

While live with Cody Simpson, Cyrus said, “You don’t have to be gay, there are good people with d**ks out there…you’ve just got to find them. You’ve got to find a d**k that’s not a d**k, you know. I always thought I had to be gay, because I thought all guys were evil, but it’s not true.”

She added, “There are good people out there that just happen to have d**ks. I’ve only ever met one, and he’s on this live.”

It seems Cyrus wouldn’t categorize Liam Hemsworth as a particularly good person.
