These 6 Companies COMPLETELY DOMINATED the Oscars

Movies are entertainment. They’re also BIG business.

This year’s Academy Awards were dominated by only six companies: News Corp. (NASDAQ:NWSA), Viacom (VIA.B), Sony (NYSE:SNE), The Weinstein Company, Disney (NYSE:DIS), and Time Warner (NYSE:TWX).

Although The King’s Speech took home the most prestigious Oscars, Disney and Time Warner took home the most total awards (4 each) for Toy Story 3, Alice in Wonderland, and Inception.
