MTV is Allegedly Filming with Jenelle’s Replacement While the Former ‘Teen Mom 2’ Star Appears in Court
It looks like MTV has moved pretty quickly to find a new mom for their Teen Mom 2 franchise. TMZ is reporting that Jade Cline will be stepping in to pick up the slack for Jenelle Evans. Jenelle was booted from the show when she returned to her husband after he murdered the family dog. Meanwhile, Jenelle is busy battling it out in court in an attempt to get her children back.
Who is Jade Cline?
Jade Cline appears on the MTV series Teen Mom: Young and Pregnant. Season 1B’s finale aired in December 2018. While some sources argue that the show will be back for a second season, MTV has been relatively tightlipped about the prospect.
Cline appeared on the show with her boyfriend Sean and their daughter Khloie. Cline, however, let fans know that she and Sean were no longer together in a Livestream in February. If Cline is really appearing on Teen Mom 2, her attempt to co-parent with her now ex-boyfriend will likely take center stage. Cline resides in Indianapolis, Indiana.
When will MTV officially announce the new star?
TMZ suggests that MTV will officially be announcing Cline’s addition to the franchise around the pre-filmed reunion special. Rumor has it that Cline is in New York City to film some scenes with Kailyn Lowry. The mother of one was already slated to appear on Lowry’s podcast.
Lowry has been working on the podcast, Coffee Convos with Kail Lowry and Lindsie Chrisley, since 2018. Chrisley, the star of Chrisley Knows Best, and Lowry chat about everything from raising their children to recent news on the popular podcast.
What is going on with Jenelle Evans?
Jenelle Evans and David Eason were spotted leaving court on May 16. According to Us Weekly, the couple’s bid to have their children immediately returned to their care was denied, but the couple left the courthouse holding hands, and frankly, David looked pretty pleased with himself.
Kaiser was removed from the family home on May 10 after a school official called CPS. Allegedly, Kaiser shared information about the death of the family dog, which prompted the official to file a report. The following week Jenelle and David’s 2-year-old daughter, Ensley was also removed from the home.
Jenelle’s oldest child, Jace, is in the care of Jenelle’s mother, Barbara, and has been for years. Early reports suggested that Barbara was keeping Jace from Jenelle following Nugget’s death. Jace, 9, was not in the home when Nugget was killed. He was on a cruise with Barbara.
Ensley has been passed off to Eason’s mother, suggested an inside source. Kaiser, 4, is believed to be staying with Nathan Griffith’s mother. Nathan and Jenelle were already slated to head to court over custody of the young boy.
