Sam and Callen find themselves in another unusual situation. In “NCIS: Los Angeles” season eleven, episode seven, titled “Concours D’Elegance,” the NCIS team connects the theft of an undersea drone prototype to a video game streamer’s party. We’re not sure how they made this connection, but it sure sounds interesting.

In the episode teaser, we see Deeks standing next to a truck with a man inside, hunched over the wheel. Deeks is heard saying, “Whoever wanted him dead, really wanted him dead.” The clip then swings over to Callen, who says, “He was a naval researcher working on some classified projects.” Sam says it’s a matter of national security, and Kensi announces the entire Navy would now be at risk. The clip ends with Nell saying, “But it only gets worse from there.”

Callen and Sam reunite with a familiar face

Callen and Sam cross paths again with insurance broker Katherine Casillas (Moon Bloodgood). She insures the gamer’s property and possessions. Bloodgood is best known for her appearance in the 2009 movie “Terminator Salvation.” She played the role of Lt. Blair Williams. Halloween!”

This isn’t the first time the team went hunting for a thief. In ‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ season 11, episode five, titled “Provenance,” the group had to look for someone who stole an expensive painting that may have been sold on the black market to fund terrorist activity. Moon Bloodgood also appears in this episode as an insurance broker.
