The upcoming episode of “NCIS” will have a lot of emotional ups and downs. Here’s what Showbiz Cheat Sheet knows about the next “NCIS” episode.
Kasie Hines faces a difficult case
In season 17, episode six, titled “Institutionalized,” Kasie Hines (Diona Reasonover) is the focus. A petty officer’s son is found murdered at his “welcome home from prison” party. The agents go on the case to find the murderer. Unfortunately, Kasie Hines best friend, Dante Brown (Devale Ellis, is thought to be the murderer based on evidence found at the scene. Kasie isn’t usually the focus of “NCIS” story line, so it should be interesting to see this episode.
“NCIS” season 17, episode five recap
“NCIS” season 17, episode five, titled “Wide Awake,” focused on what appeared to be a sleepwalking murderer. In this episode, the agents are called on to investigate a marine corporal who may have murdered her neighbor during her treatment for insomnia.
We also get to see Agent Gibbs make a friend in this episode. He takes the time to get to know his new neighbors after a child’s baseball crashes right through his window. Although the child (Phineas) offers to help replace the window, Gibbs refuses and tells him not to worry about it. Gibbs also has the chance to meet Phineas’ mother, Sarah. It was all very touching, but “NCIS” fans are suspicious of Gibbs’ new neighbors. Some think Sarah is up to no good.
Who is Devale Ellis, the actor who plays Dante Brown on “NCIS”?
Devale Ellis made his acting debut in the 2013 movie “Full Circle.” The following year, he appeared in two episodes of the television series “Young Like Us.” His other acting credits include appearances in “Power,” “Gotham,” “The Black List,” and “Vish Merick.”
What Diona Reasonover did before joining the “NCIS” cast
One of Reasonover’s early acting roles was a part in a 2015 episode of the television series “Doris & Mary-Anne Are Breaking Out of Prison.” That year, she landed a recurring role in the television series “Clipped,” in which she played the character Charmaine Eskowitz. Reasonover began playing the role of Kasie Hines in 2018.
What else is happening in the “NCIS” universe?
“NCIS: Los Angeles” has an action-packed episode planned. This week, fans will see another terrorist-themed episode (hopefully, they will give this theme a rest for a while). In “NCIS: Los Angeles” season 11, episode 6, titled “A Bloody Good Plan,” the team is called on to collaborate with Ricky Dorsey (Vinnie Jones) and Frankie Bolton (Steve Valentine), two former criminals from England. The team decides on the collaboration after an arms dealer kidnaps Ricky’s daughter so he can acquire a dangerous weapons system.
“NCIS” airs Tuesdays at 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time on CBS.
