Newly Engaged ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Star Stassi Schroeder Feuding With Frenemy Kristen Doute
Stassi Schroeder and Beau Clark celebrated their engagement in style with the entire cast of Vanderpump Rules — but there was one person missing in action: Kristen Doute. Schroeder left Doute off the guest list for the event, sparking rumors of a growing feud between the co-stars. So why did Schroeder exclude Doute from the festivities?
Inside Schroeder and Clarke’s engagement party
Schroeder and Clark started seeing each other in 2018 and later confirmed their engagement on social media. The Vanderpump Rules star told fans that Clark proposed to her in a cemetery, which was pretty much a dream come true for Schroeder. The reality star later shared a video of a party at Lisa Vanderpump’s house, Villa Rose.
The clip showed everyone who attended the special gathering, including Jax Taylor, Brittany Cartwright, Katie Maloney, Tom Schwartz, Lala Kent, and Scheana Marie. Everyone seemed to be having a blast at the party, though fans were quick to notice that Doute was nowhere in sight.
“OMG. I feel like Meghan Markle,” Schroeder captioned the video.
According to All About The Tea, several of Schroeder’s Vanderpump Rules co-stars congratulated her on social media after the engagement announcement. This includes a post from Cartwright, who said she “couldn’t be happier” for the two, and Marie, who shared a video of Vanderpump serving Schroeder a drink. Although it has been a long time since the engagement announcement and party, Doute has yet to say anything about it on social media. Doute’s silence has sparked a lot of rumors that she may be at odds with Schroeder and her future husband.
Taylor congratulates Schroeder
Even Jax Taylor got in on the engagement fun over the weekend. Taking to Instagram, Taylor wished the couple the best and expressed his excitement about another cast member tying the knot. Taylor, of course, is Schroeder’s former boyfriend, so it was great to see his reaction to her engagement. Taylor was also featured giving Schroeder and Clark a big hug in the video and seemed genuinely happy for the pair.
One of the biggest news of the evening was Schroeder’s ring. The engagement ring is shown in most of the photos from the party, but the Vanderpump Rules star’s friend, Kristina Kelly, gave fans the best look of the night. Kelly uploaded a close-up shot of the ring on social media, showing off the gorgeous rock in all its glory.
Clark later revealed that the ring is actually a family heirloom that dates all the way back to the 1900s. It is a whopping 3.5 carats — which might explain why Schroeder felt like Meghan Markle. Schroeder also admitted that she could not stop staring at the ring and feels like the engagement was a dream come true.
All about the proposal
Getting engaged in a cemetery is not something a typical person dreams about, but it was the perfect setting for Schroeder. As Vanderpump Rules fans are well aware, Schroeder loves anything to do with the macabre, so a cemetery engagement is right down her alley.
Luckily for Clark, everything fell into place when Schroeder decided to go shopping for a mausoleum or tomb for herself at the local cemetery. Clark caught her completely by surprise and hid the engagement ring inside a fake urn.
With their engagement solidified, Schroeder and Clark are now getting ready for a tour around the nation. The two are visiting 18 different stops as part of her podcast, Straight Up with Stassi, where they will likely talk about their wedding plans and whether or not the ceremony will take place in Clark’s home of Italy. Unfortunately, the two have not said anything about Doute.
Doute has not responded to the feud rumors. It is curious that Doute was not at the party and did not offer any congratulations on social media after the fact.
Unfortunately, we are still a ways out before the Season 8 premiere of Vanderpump Rules, so there is no telling what is really going on behind the scenes. If they are feuding, the truth will come out sooner or later.
