Olivia Jade Is Reportedly “Begging” USC To Let Her Back In and Many Think It’s A Publicity Stunt
New information has come to light surrounding the college admissions scandal.
Apparently, Lori Loughlin’s daughter, Olivia Jade, is trying her hardest to get back to her classes at the University of Southern California.
It has been reported that the beauty guru is desperate to attend college again and wants to show a genuine interest in her education.
However, many people aren’t buying her pleas and are certain the YouTuber is only doing this to repair her damaged reputation.
She wants to come across as a changed person
It has been a few weeks since the huge college admissions scandal made headlines, and since then, Olivia Jade and her sister’s, Isabella Rose, status at USC has been under review.
Since their parents, Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli, were indicted for taking part in the massive bribery, many were certain their daughters were going to eventually be expelled from the accredited university.
Though they haven’t been expelled, Olivia Jade is reportedly “begging” admission officials to let her back into school.
“Olivia Jade wants to go back to USC,” a source told Us Weekly. “She didn’t get officially kicked out and she is begging the school to let her back in.”
With it being very unlikely Olivia Jade will be readmitted into USC, sources claim that the YouTuber is doing this to revamp her tainted image.
“She knows they won’t let her in, so she’s hoping this info gets out,” another source explained. “She wants to come out looking like she’s changed, learned life lessons and is growing as a person, so she for sure wants people to think she is interested in her education.”
Olivia once said she didn’t like school
Though Olivia Jade is “serious” about continuing her studies at USC, many of us can’t help but resort back to the infamous YouTube video where she mentions hating school.
Just last year, the beauty guru uploaded a “Morning Routine” video and in it, she shares just how much she doesn’t like the learning aspect of college.
“I don’t want to wake up. I don’t want to go to school. I hate school. My school is super chill and cool and nice to me about working. And they’re super supportive with my job and stuff. I like my school, I just don’t like school in general,” she says in the 10-minute video.
Many people have referred back to this video since it was reported that Olivia Jade is trying to get back into USC.
Some are even convinced this is just a publicity stunt that the makeup guru is hoping works in her favor.
Though her wish of getting back into USC will most likely not come true any time soon, college officials are still investigating those students, including Olivia, who were involved in the scandal.
Since they cannot withdraw from the school or attend classes, the fate of those students involved is still up in the air.
Olivia Jade and Isabella Rose have been in academic limbo since April 2019 and their academic status continues to be on “hold” while their parents’ future is still being settled in court.
