One of Meghan Markle’s Favorite Face Masks Is a Cult-Favorite $166 Brightening Cream
Celebrities like Meghan, Duchess of Sussex are constantly hounded by the paparazzi. It must be hard to always be on point with hair and makeup game. If a photographer snaps a pic on a bad day, celebrities and entertainers risk being roasted by the public.
Maybe that’s why fans love celebrity beauty tips. There’s no one more trustworthy source than people who are always expected to be beautiful. So when fans found out about Meghan’s favorite face mask, naturally they were excited.
Meghan Markle’s favorite face mask is Sisley Paris Black Rose Cream Mask
The $166 price tag may not seem like a lot for a former duchess’ skin product. Considering that only buys two ounces, it’s actually one of the more expensive celebrity face masks. The cream is loved by many big-name stars, including Jennifer Lawrence, Emma Stone, and Salma Hayek.
Apparently it provides “instant youth” by smoothing out the skin. It brightens the skin, and there’s no hassle with this mask either. According to Meghan’s former makeup artist, it’s “great for skin prep, because you don’t have to rinse it off. You can wipe it away after 10 minutes, leaving your skin supple and bright.”
The mask sounds amazing, but there are a lot of great looking celebs who treat their skin for a lot less.
Meghan Markle has expensive taste in face masks
Chrissy Teigen swears by the Glamglow GravityMud Firming Treatment, which is around $82 for 3.5 ounces.
The likes of Bella Hadid, Ashley Graham, and Kim Kardashian have tried 111Skin Rose Gold Brightening Facial Treatment Mask, and they liked it enough to post about it on social media. That mask goes for $135 for a five-pack, although it’s not clear how many applications users can get with 2 ounces of the Sisley Paris mask.
The 111Skin product is used by many of the former duchess’ friends, including Priyanka Chopra, who absolutely swears by it, calling it her “special sauce.” Chopra claims she used it to prep for Meghan’s own wedding in 2018.
Some good looking celebrities spend even less than that. Despite the fact that Julia Louise Dreyfus is flush with Seinfeld money, her favorite face mask is surprisingly affordable. She uses Skyn Iceland Face-Lift-In-A-Bag, which goes for $22 for two masks, or $11 each.
That’s relatively inexpensive, especially considering the price tag on Meghan’s favorite mask. But Meghan isn’t only into expensive products.
Meghan Markle has more accessible beauty tips
Even though Meghan’s favorite face mask is probably too expensive for the average consumer to use every day, there are plenty of average products that she loves. After all, Meghan wasn’t born into royalty. She was an average person once too, and she lets fans know which drug store products she uses.
The Sisley mask may be $166, but Meghan can’t live without Biore Daily Cleansing Cloths, which can be found at any beauty retailer for around $8. She uses Dr. Bronner’s Pure Castile soap, which is also probably on the shelf at the local grocery store. It costs around $15, and there are a few different scents available.
Meghan prefers lavender or almond. As for lotion, the former duchess goes with good old Nivea. She claims she “would buy a case of this at a time” if she could.
Meghan is generous with her beauty tips. She’s not trying to push expensive products on fans that can’t afford them. Now that she’s made it big, she indulges in pricey creams like Sisley Paris Black Rose Cream Mask, but she deserves it.
