‘OutDaughtered’: Adam Busby Just Clapped Back at Another Fan Questioning His Vacations With Danielle Busby
TLC is home to plenty of interesting families, and fans fell in love with Adam and Danielle Busby via OutDaughtered. The couple is famous for having the only set of all-female quintuplets in the U.S., and with their older daughter, Blayke, that means they’re caring for six little girls under the age of 9. While Adam and Danielle live hectic lives, they still manage to care for their kids and have weekly date nights to ensure their marriage continues in a healthy direction.
Adam and Danielle both get candid about what’s going on in their lives via Instagram. And Adam recently posted about a trip he was on with Danielle. Unfortunately, he had to call out one of his followers who didn’t seem to understand.
Adam and Danielle Busby are open about their need for date nights
Taking care of six kids is no easy task, and Adam and Danielle seem to have their scheduling down to a science. Not only are they great at making sure all of their kids’ needs are met, but they’ve also spoken out about the importance of regular date nights. Danielle told Us Weekly that she and Adam make sure to have at least one night to themselves per week, as this gives them a chance to take some time to check in with each other and make sure the romance is still alive.
As Danielle told the publication, “Don’t ever give up on your date nights. It’s all about a schedule …. We hear, I think, most from other couples is that, ‘we just don’t have time.’ Well, we don’t have time, we just make time, and so that’s the advice is just find that day and make the time.”
They’ve been questioned about their frequent vacationing in the past
Date nights don’t have to be complicated, but it’s clear Adam and Danielle don’t shy away from taking the occasional vacation, either. This past July, Adam and Danielle took a trip to Mexico for their anniversary, and they posted a number of sweet photos to their Instagram. While many were happy the two were taking some time to themselves, others questioned why their six kids were left behind.
As one follower questioned on Adam’s post, “I was always afraid to leave my girls with anyone, even to go see a movie lol, but I did not have any relatives near by. Maybe they help out when you get to be alone on a trip.” To that, Adam replied, “I would say that 95% of times that we go out (and we make it a point to get away from the house once a week to focus on us) the girls are not being watched by a family member. We just made it a priority to seek out people that we trust to focus on the most important relationship in our home.”
After that, Danielle also called out her critics on Instagram. “For those of you who are gonna get mad bc yes, we have gone on another date… well, here is to love,” she captioned this post of her and Adam.
Adam Busby just clapped back at a fan who questioned him and Danielle
Adam just posted another photo of him and Danielle with the caption, “A little one on one with my number one. #vegas.” And while many of Adam’s fans think he and Danielle look happy and amazing, one of his followers had something else to say. “I love your show and your kids but you guys seem to take more vacations than people with zero children…great for you but does make me curious…,” the critic wrote.
To that, Adam replied, “curious of what? Every trip that we take isn’t necessarily for vacation.” And he got plenty of support from others after he commented back.
During a recent interview with People, Adam also mentioned he doesn’t understand why anyone would criticize him or Danielle. “It’s crazy. And I don’t know what it is. Is it just to mask one’s own insecurities so they can have this persona online that they have everything together if they shame another mom? It’s really bizarre,” he said.
It seems the Busbys can’t escape critique, but we know they’re unafraid to face it head-on. We’re excited to see what the next season of OutDaughtered has in store this fall!
