How did Altschul make her fortune?

In 1996, Patricia Altschul tied the knot with Arthur Altschul, a partner with Goldman Sachs and a well-respected banking mogul. The two were married until his passing in 2002. When she lived in Manhattan, Altschul worked with a number of different nonprofit companies, including the Historic Hudson Valley and the New York Historical Society.

New York’s Police Athletic League name her the Woman of the Year in 2012, and, a year later, the Preservation Society of Charleston awarded her for renovating a historic house in the area.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Patricia Altschul’s fortune is estimated to be around $20 million. The vast majority of Altschul’s wealth comes from her husband, but she still makes a decent salary starring on Southern Charm every season. It is unclear how much Altschul pulls down for her appearances on the show.

While Altschul loves being in front of the cameras, there was a time when she almost skipped out on being on the show. She only agreed to be a part of the series because her son convinced her that her role would be minimal.

Sudler-Smith promised a minor role for Patricia Altschul

When Southern Charm first started, Sudler-Smith told his mother that she only needed to appear on camera for five minutes. Even still, Altschul was hesitant to be on the show because she moved to Charleston to get away from the bright lights of New York. The last thing she wanted to do was get involved with a reality TV show.

But after six seasons on Southern Charm, Sudler-Smith now tries to convince his mom to rein it in whenever the cameras are around.

As far as Altschul is concerned, she considers herself a matriarch to the rest of the cast, though she never expected that her days in Charleston would be spent working on a show. She also noted that Season 6 of Southern Charm features some heated moments between the cast, and fans might be surprised by a few things that develop as the season wears on.

She did not reveal any specifics about the current season, but it is safe to say that fans will not be disappointed.

Is Patricia Altschul dating anyone?

In Season 5, fans learned that Altschul was dating a man everyone referred to as Mr. C. We also found out that Mr. C reportedly proposed to Altschul last year. Fans, of course, want to know how their relationship is progressing and whether Altschul and Mr. C are still a thing.

Luckily, Altschul recently opened up about her romantic life and revealed that things are still going strong between her and her man. When it comes to the wedding, however, Altschul is not ready to rush into marriage.

If Altschul and her mystery man decide to tie the knot, it would be the fourth time the reality star has exchanged vows.

Patricia Altschul was married to Lon Smith for well over a decade before they called it quits. In the wake of the divorce, Altschul penned her memoir, The Art of Southern Charm, in which she admitted that she could have remarried on several occasions. The only thing that has stopped her is the desire to be a good mother and stay dedicated to her career.

Altschul was also married to Edward Fleming and her late husband, Arthur. It is unclear if Altschul will ever walk down the aisle again, but she definitely seems content with how things are going at the moment.

Fans can watch Patricia Altschul in action when new episodes of Southern Charm air Wednesday nights on Bravo.
