Pete Davidson and Ariana Grande Got New Tattoos With a Special Meaning For Fans
To say that the relationship between Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson is moving quickly would be the understatement of the year. Now, a few weeks after going public with their relationship, the celebrity couple just got a pair of matching tattoos that will have a special meaning for fans.
Grande recently posted an Instagram story showing two hands with “H2GKMO” tattooed on them. This appears to stand for “honest to god knock me out,” a phrase that Grande’s fans will immediately recognize. She tweeted earlier this month, “i say ‘honest to god knock me out’ 300 times a day.” Since then, her fans have been using that phrase all the time.
The caption of the Instagram story mentions Pete Davidson and a few other friends. So it appears that Grande and Davidson were not the only ones to get the tattoo.
For those keeping score at home, this would be at least the third tattoo of Davidson’s inspired by his new pop-star girlfriend. Earlier this month, he got a tattoo of Grande’s Dangerous Woman bunny ears. At the same time, he also received the initials “AG” on his thumb. There may even be a fourth tattoo in the mix; eagle-eyed fans have noticed that both Davidson and Grande now have similar cloud tattoos on their fingers.
Grande recently revealed that she and Davidson have moved in together. She also posted videos of them looking for rugs for their new apartment. The whole Grande and Davidson saga has been a bit of a whirlwind. It was only on May 10th that we found out that Grande and Mac Miller had broken up; about a week later, we found out that Davidson and his longtime girlfriend Cazzie David had also split.
During the next few weeks, rumors began to swirl that Grande and Davidson were together, with Bossip first reporting it on May 18th. It became increasingly obvious that this was definitely true if only based on how often the two would like and comment on each other’s social media posts.
On May 30th, they appeared to go public with their relationship for the first time on Instagram. It was pretty soon after that that we found out about Davidson’s first two Grande tattoos.
Finally, on June 11th, People reported that Grande and Davidson are engaged. Grande would seem to confirm this on Twitter later that day. TMZ subsequently reported that Davidson and his ex-girlfriend Cassie David were on a break in early May when his romance with Grande began.
Recently, Grande clapped back at those questioning her romance with Davidson. When she revealed that there’s a song on her new album called “Pete,” one Twitter user called her dumb, to which Grande simply responded, “nah.”
Going into more detail, Grande later tweeted, “forreal. the truth is i been the f&ck thru it and life’s too short to be cryptic n shit about something as beautiful as this love I’m in. so ǝʇǝԀ it is.”
