Pete Davidson is finally weighing in on the Kate Beckinsale dating rumors and their much talked about
How long have Pete Davidson and Kate Beckinsale been dating?
Davidson and Beckinsale first stirred up dating rumors when they were spotted acting flirty at a Golden Globes party. A source shared with Us Weekly at the time: “She was following him around a bit and waiting for him,” adding, “People approached her and she didn’t want to talk to anyone else… It definitely seemed like Kate was interested in him.”
While all of that seemed to point to the two being in a relationship, it was their serious next level PDA at a hockey game last weekend that really sealed the deal.
Davidson talked briefly about their relationship status on ‘SNL’
Davidson’s SNL Weekend Update segment was mostly about the R. Kelly abuse case and recent Michael Jackson HBO documentary, but he also managed to give a quick bit of info about his current relationship.
Weekend Update co-anchor Colin Jost asked Davidson if there was anything else he wanted to talk about, noting, “Not like a new girlfriend situation at all, Pete?” Pete grinned and said, “Oh yeah,” adding, “Apparently, people have a crazy fascination with our age difference. But it doesn’t really bother us. But then again, I’m new to this.”
What is Pete Davidson and Kate Beckinsale’s age difference?
While Davidson confirmed that he and Beckinsale are dating, he also swiftly knocked down any chatter about whether their ages have any bearing on their relationship. Beckinsale is 20 years older than Davidson — she’s 45 and he’s 25 years old.
Speaking to that matter, Davidson pointed out plenty of couples who have a major age difference. The comedian remarked: “So if you have questions about a relationship with a big age difference, just ask Leonardo DiCaprio, Jason Statham, Michael Douglas, Richard Gere, Jeff Goldblum, Scott Disick, Dane Cook, Derek Jeter, Bruce Willis, Harrison Ford, Tommy Lee, Alec Baldwin, Sean Penn, whoever the president of France is, Mel Gibson, Billy Joel, Mick Jagger, Sylvester Stallone, Eddie Murphy, Kelsey Grammer, Larry King, Larry King, Larry King, Rod Stewart and Donald Trump.”
Beckinsale has been shooting down trolls on Instagram
Beckinsale hasn’t made her relationship status with Davidson Instagram official yet, but she has had a little fun with the trolls who are harassing her over dating a younger man. When one fan commented on one of her Instagram posts: “Disappointed in your dating choices,” she fired off this response: “Fairly let down by your wonky beard but thought rude to say.”
When another person commented on an Instagram photo of her mother: “Dear heavens, Kate. Not Pete Davidson,” Beckinsale joked: “No that’s my mother. Easy mistake.”
