1 of the Last Pictures Chadwick Boseman Posted Was With Democratic Nominee Kamala Harris — Now She’s Offering Her Tribute

Aside from his Marvel co-stars, Chadwick Boseman earned the admiration of fans and a number of public figures. That includes the democratic presidential nominee, Joe Biden, and his running mate, Kamala Harris. The two of them both shared tributes on social media following the actor’s death. 

‘Black Panther’ actor, Chadwick Boseman, died of colon cancer at 43-years-old 

Known for his roles as Jackie Robinson and King T’Challa, Black Panther actor Chadwick Boseman died on Aug. 28, 2020. Boseman has battled colon cancer since 2016 and died at home with his family and wife by his side, according to a statement posted on his Twitter account. He was 43. 

A number of celebrities took to social media, sharing their love for the actor and activist. Prior to his passing, however, the actor posted his response to Joe Biden’s Vice President pick. That was the United States Senator for California, Kamala Harris.

Prior to his death, Chadwick Boseman posted his support of Kamala Harris 

One of the last posts of Chadwick Boseman on social media dealt with the announcement of Joe Biden’s Vice Presidential nominee. He shared a picture of himself embracing Kamala Harris, with the caption, “YES @KamalaHarris! #WhenWeAllVote #Vote2020.” The picture earned over a million likes with fans sharing their love for both celebrities. 

The picture posted by Boseman earlier during August 2020 was taken at a “Freedom for Immigrants” event in California. Reportedly, at the same event, Boseman participated in the launch of @AdyBarkan #BeAHero tour, which “focused on economic and health justice.” As a result, some fans called the Black Panther actor a hero both on and off the screen.

Kamala Harris shared her tribute to the actor, Chadwick Boseman

After learning of his passing, the democratic presidential nominee, Joe Biden, and his running mate both shared their tribute to Boseman. Kamala Harris, who previously met the actor, described him as “brilliant” and “kind,” sharing that they both attended Howard University. 

“Heartbroken. My friend and fellow Bison Chadwick Boseman was brilliant, kind, learned, and humble. He left too early but his life made a difference. Sending my sincere condolences to his family,” Kamala Harris tweeted, sharing her picture with the actor.

“The true power of @ChadwickBoseman was bigger than anything we saw on screen. From the Black Panther to Jackie Robinson, he inspired generations and showed them they can be anything they want — even super heroes. Jill and I are praying for his loved ones at this difficult time,” Joe Biden tweeted.

Since Boseman’s death, his co-stars, including Brie Larson, Mark Ruffalo, and Chris Evans shared their tribute to the King of Wakanda. Fans can see Chadwick Boseman in movies like Avengers: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War, and Black Panther, all of which are available for streaming on Disney+.
