Tommy Egan (Joseph Sikora) stands at the center of Power Book IV: Force. Mourning the losses of his best friend, James “Ghost” St. Patrick (Omari Hardwick), and his girlfriend LaKeisha Grant (LaLa Anthony), Tommy flees New York for Chicago. Determined to make a name for himself in a new city, Tommy immediately finds himself drawn to an enticing bartender named Gloria (Gabrielle Ryan).

Now, Ryan is getting candid about her sex scenes with Sikora.

Tommy and Gloria immediately connected on ‘Power Book IV: Force’

Tommy arrived in Chicago with his Mustang, a photo of his grandmother, and a cellphone. Following the deaths of both LaKeisha and Ghost, he didn’t want anything from his past looming over him. Though he was only supposed to be in Chicago for a short time, the Queens-born gangster immediately connected with Gloria. He was enticed by her stunning looks and delicious food.

Ryan says it makes sense that the pair had such an intense connection. “When you sort of have experienced trauma in your life in any capacity, you do kind of recognize it in somebody else,” Ryan told Pop Culture. “And I think that that’s something that immediately is what attracts Gloria to Tommy when he walks in. She’s so intrigued by this man who is different to Vic in many ways, and very, quite similar in some ways.”

Like the original Power, Force has a ton of violence and sex. It’s a bit more intense than Power Book II: Ghost. Ryan got candid about doing sex scenes with Sikora. “I mean, gosh, there’s nothing that can prepare you for those kind of scenes,” Ryan told Digital Spy. “I think like the night before, I wasn’t nervous as such, but I definitely was thinking well, ‘how the hell do I prepare for this?’. What do I do apart from like trying to make sure I feel and look good.”

She added, “But like I said, you know Joseph was so comforting and he made me feel so safe and so at ease that we just had fun. After like the first take it’s like, ‘Oh, this oh, this is fun. Yeah, yeah we can do it again.’ And obviously, you know, he’s very easy on the eye. So that was fun, but I actually found it very enjoyable. We had a lot of fun during those scenes.”

It appears that more of these steamy scenes are on the horizon.

Will Tommy and Vic fight over Gloria?

As we know, Gloria has been in an intense on-again, off-again relationship with Vic (Shane Harper). Though he seems determined to have a future with her, his family is doing everything in their power to prevent the union since Gloria is not Irish. This has driven Gloria toward Tommy, much to Vic’s disgust. Though the Irish mobster seems confident that he can win Gloria back, we’re not so certain.

“It’s a tricky one because Vic and Gloria are definitely off when Gloria meets Tommy,” Ryan told Digital Spy. “It’s a very on-off relationship, which is why she’s, you know, she’s even open and available to being intimate with Tommy. But Tommy is also Tommy, and, you know, the instant attraction is really obvious, they have a connection straight away. And I think that Gloria’s intrigued by Tommy and it’s something different, you know, it’s not the baggage that she has with Vic. They have a long, long, long, long-term relationship, Vic and Gloria. And Tommy is new and exciting, and this new guy in town, who wouldn’t be interested in that?”

Also, considering the fact that both Walter (Tommy Flannagan) and Claudia (Lili Simmons) appeared at Gloria’s bar to warn her against continuing her relationship with Vic, things are going to be sticky.
