Pregnant ‘Counting On’ Star Abbie Grace Burnett Joins John David Duggar For Hurricane Relief Efforts
Counting On star Abbie Grace Burnett might be pregnant with her first child, but that did not stop her from flying to The Bahamas to visit her husband, John David Duggar. John David has been in The Bahamas since the start of September, helping clean up in the wake of Hurricane Dorian. After more than two weeks apart, Burnett recently reunited with John David is officially helping out with emergency relief efforts.

Burnett joins John David for hurricane relief
The Duggars are no strangers to missionary work, so after Hurricane Dorian devastated The Bahamas, John David jumped at the chance to help with relief efforts.
According to OK Magazine, John David traveled to The Bahamas earlier this month, despite his wife being pregnant. Burnett, meanwhile, remained in the states for several weeks before joining her husband in the Caribbean.
John David’s team, MEDIC Corps, is working with another relief organization called Team Rubicon. The couple shared a group photo of both teams on social media, confirming that Burnett is now in The Bahamas.
MEDIC Corps also shared a quick video of their efforts that feature Burnett loading up a plane with supplies. As Counting On fans may recall, Burnett is a registered nurse, so we’re sure she is putting her skills to good use.
Fans have reacted positively to the posts and praised Burnett for working while she is expecting.
Burnett and John David confirm their first pregnancy
Back in August, John David Duggar and Abbie Grace Burnett announced that they are expecting their first on social media. The two expressed their excitement about expanding their family and sounded thrilled to become parents.
A few weeks after dropping the pregnancy news, the Counting On couple confirmed that they are expecting a girl.
When John David left for The Bahamas, Burnett spent a lot of time with Joy-Anna Duggar, whose husband, Austin Forsyth, was also taking part in the relief efforts.
But Forsyth returned to the states a few weeks ago, leaving Burnett without a close friend to rely on.
Apart from Forsyth and John David, several members of the Duggar clan ventured to the Caribbean to help out in disaster relief. This includes Jana Duggar, who was also featured in the group shot with John David and Burnett.
Bringing Up Bates star Lawson Bates is a part of the MEDIC Corps as well and also joined the Duggars in their efforts.
Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar took to social media earlier this month to praise their children for helping the people of The Bahamas as they recover from Hurricane Dorian.
The Duggars prepare for Season 10 of ‘Counting On’
While John David and his wife are in The Bahamas, the rest of the Duggars are preparing for the premiere of season 10 of Counting On.
TLC just released the official trailer for the upcoming season and it looks like we are in for another amazing journey with the Duggar clan.
This season, fans will watch as several of the Duggar women reach milestones, namely adding more children to the family. There were several members of the Duggar family who were pregnant during production, and it looks like we’ll get to see how some of them announced their pregnancies to the rest of the family.
Season 9 of Counting On featured John David and Burnett planning their wedding, while Josiah Duggar and his wife, Lauren Swanson, announced their first pregnancy. In total, there were six Duggar women who were pregnant this past year, though not of all them had a happy ending.
We will also get to see Jinger Duggar and her husband, Jeremy Vuolo, make the big move to Los Angeles. The couple relocated from Texas earlier this year so that Vuolo could continue his education.
On more of a sad note, the new season will explore Jim Bob and his family found out about the passing of their beloved matriarch, Grandma Mary.
The new season of Counting On is scheduled to kick off October 15, on TLC. Hopefully, John David and Burnett will be back in time for the premiere.
