Prince George and Princess Charlotte Just Spent Their Weekend With Their Cousins
Prince George and Princess Charlotte are members of the British Royal Family, but they won’t begin their royal duties for many years to come. In fact, Prince William and Duchess Kate Middleton have been especially diligent about keeping their children sheltered from the press and the spotlight.
Though the little princes and princess are enjoying their childhoods –the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge don’t exactly keep them locked up in Kensington Palace. This past weekend –the littles were snapped spending quality time with the cousins –the Tindalls.
Prince George and Princess Charlotte hung out with their cousins over the weekend
As they patiently await the arrival of their cousin –Baby Sussex — Prince George and Princess Charlotte spent the weekend with Prince William’s cousin Zara Phillips Tindall and her family. The Cambridges and the Tindalls spent the day at the Burnham international horse trials in Norfolk where Zara Tindall was participating.
We haven’t seen the entire Cambridge clan together since the Christmas holidays when they posted their family Christmas card on Instagram. However, the Daily Mail was able to capture some adorable snaps of Prince William carrying Tindall’s daughter Mia on his shoulders, Duchess Kate Middleton carrying Charlotte on her shoulders, and Prince George riding atop Mike Tindall’s shoulders. It looks like Prince Louis was too little for this particular family outing, so he stayed home.
This is how Prince George and Princess Charlotte usually spend their weekends
The little royals are still a little too young to participate in numerous royal events, so they spend their weekends outside. Royal blogger Netty Royal has often seen spotted them playing. They wrote, “When you walk around Kensington Gardens before departure, and you see the nanny with all three kids.” They added that Princess Charlotte and Prince George were racing on their bikes while Prince Louis was being pushed in his stroller by Nanny Maria.
Why is it so important that Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis to spend time outside?
Despite their hectic work schedules –the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are really hands-on parents. They can be spotted watching Princess Charlotte, and Prince George play soccer in the gardens, and the royal siblings have also been seen racing in the Kensington Palace Gardens and hunting for spiders. The gardens are an intimate, tranquil, and secluded oasis that is open to the public. They include a sunken garden that has rotational flower displays in the spring and summer, an arched arbor of red-twigged limbs called the Cradle Walk and some formal gardens.
Kate Middleton and Prince William do not allow their children to have tablet or iPads –therefore spending time outside playing in the fresh air is a priority for the Cambridge family.
