Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Felt ‘Uncomfortable’ During Their Latest Reunion With Prince William and Kate Middleton
On Nov. 8, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle appeared in public with Prince William and Kate Middleton for the very first time since the Duke of Sussex confirmed the feud within the royal family.
The foursome attended the Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance, where they were seen smiling as they honored those who died in battle. However, a body language noticed some underlying cues, saying in a new report that the Sussexes seemed “uncomfortable” during the event.

On the evening of Nov. 8, the group gathered at the event to commemorate Britain’s war heroes. Though the couples were never actually photographed together, body language expert Blanca Cobb told Cosmopolitan on Nov. 10 that Prince Harry and Markle did not seem “at ease.”
She pointed to a photo showing Prince Harry with his hand over his stomach while Markle stands next to him. “Harry’s hand over his stomach is a self-soothing gesture,” Cobb said. “It’s a go-to for him, and a protective gesture that helps comfort him in stressful situations.”
Meanwhile, “Markle’s hands are in an awkward position, which signals that there’s a little bit of unease for her. They’re both showing some discomfort.”
In regards to a second photo that shows Markle with her left hand over her belly, Cobb said the royal seemed to be subconsciously protecting herself from “perceived anxiety or angst.”
Prince William and Kate Middleton, however, seemed a lot more “relaxed.”
“They seemed much more relaxed and happier than Meghan and Harry,” Cobb said of the photo shown above. “Kate has a much bigger smile than Meghan, and you tend to emote more when you’re happy and relaxed.”
A recap of Prince Harry’s comments about the royal feud
The duke confirmed the brotherly feud in the October documentary, Harry & Meghan: An African Journey. He attributed the fallout to the pressures of royal life, admitting that there are good and bad days.
“Part of this role and part of this job and this family being under the pressure that it’s under… inevitably, you know, stuff happens,” he explained. “But, look, we’re brothers. We’ll always be brothers. We’re certainly on different paths at the moment but I will always be there for him and, as I know, he will always be there for me.”
Prince Harry went on to say that he loves his brother and that the “majority” of the rumors is “created out of nothing.”
Prince William did not directly comment on the remarks. However, some sources said that he was “furious” at Prince Harry for speaking out.
At the same time, sources said that the Duke of Cambridge was more “worried” about his brother than angry. A Kensington Palace source also told the BBC on Oct. 21 that Prince William hopes his brother is “all right.”
Either way, the tension seems obvious. Maybe some more time apart could do these couples justice.
