Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Welcomed Into an Elite Secret Group in ‘Little Britain’ (Malibu) Claims British Expat

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly joining an elite group in Malibu. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex flew to Los Angeles a few weeks ago to reportedly settle in the area. They have been keeping things low-key amid the coronavirus pandemic, but there is one British billionaire who says that a secret group will be welcoming them with open arms in what he calls “Little Britain.”

The real reason Prince Harry and Meghan Markle moved to Los Angeles

It is no secret that LA is a hotbed for celebrities, but royal watchers might be surprised to learn how many British celebrities call Malibu their home. According to Express, Alki David, who has made billions in the UK, calls Malibu “Little Britain” and believes the Sussexes will be right at home by the California beach.

“What people don’t realize is that Malibu has quietly become ‘Little Britain’ and that the west coast is now the hotspot for Britain’s brightest and best,” David shared, adding that Sting, Jason Statham, Simon Cowell, Chris Martin, Gerard Butler, and Jonathan Rhys Meyers all have homes in the area.

David added that most of the popular stars in London have moved to Los Angeles because of the attitude of the pace of the city. David says people in the area are more “relaxed” than in London and are willing to make deals anywhere.

He also believes that Meghan will do really well for herself in LA and that the decision to move to the area is “great for her career.”

As part of their exit plan, Harry and Meghan will be becoming financially independent from the crown. The two have yet to reveal how they will make money, but they clearly have plenty of opportunities in LA.

David noted that he often makes mega-deals in the comfort of his own house in Malibu and is looking forward to inviting Harry and Meghan over for a welcome party. David is currently dating Leyla Q, a popular Tik Tok star who has over 100 million views in 2020.

“When they join the community my girlfriend and I will welcome them on to the beach for a drink and introduce them to the other Brits here,” he explained.

The billionaire also said that Prince Harry and Meghan should explore more ways in which social media can grow their brand. He is also hoping that the former Suits star will agree to do a Tik Tok video with him.

If she handles things the right way, David believes that Meghan has what it takes to become an icon, just like Princess Diana.

Harry and Meghan have not commented on the reports surrounding their move to LA. The couple re-located right before Canada and the US closed their borders to help contain the spread of COVID-19.

Where will Prince Harry and Meghan Markle buy a home?

Sources claim that Harry and Meghan want to buy a home in Malibu, and David revealed that they are thinking about an estate in Serra Retreat called Petra Manor. The Sussexes have not confirmed the reports, but Malibu does have some interesting ties to the royal family.

After finalizing her divorce from Prince Charles, Diana was planning on moving to Malibu with her boyfriend Dodi Fayed. Months before the couple’s tragic car accident in Paris, Fayed bought a mansion in Malibu.

Sources believe that Diana was going to move in with Fayed in Malibu, settling down in a villa that featured a private beach and was once owned by Julie Andrews and Blake Edwards.

Prince Harry and Meghan are also reportedly looking for a beach-side house where they can raise their son, Archie Harrison, outside of the spotlight.

Is Harry and Meghan’s brand disruptive?

Although Harry and Meghan are settling into their new lives outside of the royal family, we still do not know how they plan on earning a living. Building their new brand is probably on the top of their list, but one celebrity expert believes their brand is going to be “very disruptive.”

According to Express, author Jeetendr Sehdev, who wrote the book, The Kim Kardashian Principle, believes that Prince Harry and Meghan will make waves with their brand and compared them to the Obamas.

“The Meghan and Harry brand has always been very disruptive,” he shared. “The closest comparison to Meghan and Harry will be the Obamas and what they’re actually doing, I mean they’ve created an entertainment entity where they’re producing documentaries and I think that will be a similar route that Meghan and Harry can certainly take.”

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s exit from the royal family became official on March 31. Apart from being financially independent of the crown, the pair will no longer use their royal titles.
