Recently, the rumor mill has been churning again about Duchess Meghan being already pregnant with another child. The same rumors circulated before the couple announced their pregnancy with Baby Archie too. However, until an official statement is made by the duke and duchess or the Palace officials, fans of the royal family will have to just keep waiting and speculating.

In fact, the speculations have gone viral based on a photograph of the duchess with Prince Harry at the Festival of Remembrance. Duchess Meghan was photographed wearing a black jacquard dress with a tightly belted waist. Instagram followers immediately discussed how her belt accentuated a possible baby bump.

Prince Harry told the press he wants two kids

After the birth of Archie Harrison in May of 2019, Prince Harry seems to have settled nicely into the role of fatherhood. His son is the 4th grandchild of Prince Charles and currently holds the 7th spot in the line of succession to the throne.

In previous interviews, Prince Harry has revealed that he wants to have a nice, small family with Duchess Meghan. “Two, maximum!” he said, according to Vogue’s September issue, about the number of children he hopes to have. His concerns over climate change and overpopulation inspiring him to settle on just a few children in his future.

The media was unkind to Meghan Markle during her first pregnancy

The duchess recently opened up, publicly, about how hard it is to join the royal family, be a newlywed, and also tackle being a first-time mother. She mentions this is especially hard because of the viscous media coverage of her life.

Markle and Prince Harry were interviewed by Tom Bradby for a documentary titled “Harry & Meghan: An African Journey.” When Bradby asked Markle how she was really doing in the face of such drastic public scrutiny, the former actress broke down and became quite emotional.

“Any woman, especially when they’re pregnant,” Duchess Meghan confirmed. “You’re really vulnerable, so that was made really challenging,” the duchess said. “When you have a newborn, you know. Especially as a woman, it’s a lot. You add this on top of being a new mom and trying to be a newlywed…Not many people have asked if I’m okay. But it’s a very real thing to be going through behind the scenes.”

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are enjoying parenthood

Despite the media’s constant probing into their lives, the royal couple is enjoying being new parents. The pair have even been caught praising each other’s parenting skills.

While they were on their recent trip to Africa they reportedly gushed about what great parents the other one is. During a mindfulness activity, when the couple visited an organization that offers mental health support to at-risk kids, the pair complimented each other on their ability to be a good parent.

The duchess went on to say the duke was the “best dad,” to which Prince Harry replied that Duchess Meghan is “the best mum” to Archie.

Prince Harry dropped some hints he’s ready to expand his family

During a recent visit with military families in Windsor, Prince Harry may have indicated that he’s ready for baby number two. After talking with a few mothers he discussed the logistics of how they added a second baby to their families.

“Harry was really quite interested in how things were with second children as well because we both have older children,” said Susie Stringfellow in an interview with People. She even admitted that she and some other moms had been encouraging to the duchess and duke in regards to growing their family.

“We were trying to encourage him to have a second baby,” Stringfellow remembered.

The royal family has not made any official announcements regarding another pregnancy for the duchess. But, typically, news of a royal baby doesn’t come until the second trimester when a pregnancy can be safely announced.
