Prince Harry Is Happier Than Ever, Insider Reveals

Prince Harry is now 36, the same age as his late mother, Princess Diana was when she died. In addition to reaching this milestone age, Prince Harry’s life looks drastically different than it did at this time last year.

The Duke of Sussex has officially resigned from his role as a senior working role. And he’s also moved away from his native U.K. along with his wife, Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, and their infant son, Archie Harrison.

When news of the Sussexes’ move to LA first hit the media, insiders and sources speculated that the duke was not adjusting well. Now, it appears that the red-headed royal is happier than ever.

Prince Harry was very unhappy in the British royal family

When it comes to analyzing the Sussexes’ exit from the royal family, a good portion of the blame has been put on Meghan. There is a narrative that the outspoken American dazzled the unsuspecting prince and ripped him away from his home. However, that couldn’t be further from the truth.

In reality, the prince has been unhappy in The Firm for some time. A source told The Sun,

The truth is Harry had been unhappy for a long, long time. He wanted to move in the direction that they did and had been considering it for more than a year. Meghan supported Harry’s decision. But there was more than one occasion where she asked him if he was certain it was what he wanted. And she always made it clear she would support him in whatever he did.

Though the duke has only be spotted publically in LA a handful of times, from his joyful and upbeat appearances on various virtual calls, he appears to be in great spirits.

In fact, he and Meghan have just purchased a $14.7 million estate in Santa Barbara, returned the taxpayer funding used to renovate Frogmore Cottage, and signed a multi-million deal with Netflix. Prince Harry and Meghan are also in control of their lives and personal narratives. When asked about his new life in the states, the prince revealed via Daily Mail,

I am loving it. It’s fantastic. What I need is a few mini rugby balls that I can get Archie involved with the game…I’ve got a little bit of space outside which we’re fortunate enough to have. We’ve got a whole Rugby League world cup coming next year. I definitely plan on coming back. I would have been back already had it not been for COVID.
