Prince Harry Married Meghan Markle ‘Because She’s Like Diana’ Source Says

A lot has been said about Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex. However, despite all of the rumors and the speculation, one thing remains certain about the pair, they are absolutely smitten with one another. When the duo initially met in the summer of 2016, they were able to keep their relationship under wraps, spending time together in the U.K. and in Toronto where the duchess was filming her hit series, Suits.

However, the press soon found out about the relationship. From the beginning the prince has been the number one defender of his wife, making unprecedented statements when it came to her safety and the media’s intrusion on her life. Ultimately, this led to the duke and duchess deciding as a family they would step away from their roles in the British royal family.

Now, the Sussexes are living in the duchess’ hometown of Los Angeles, Californa and though things have taken an unexpected turn they’ve reportedly never been more in sync.

Inside Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s marriage

From the amounts of PDA that they display, their body language, and the kind things they’ve said about one another, it’s clear that the Sussexes are absolutely in love.

Their partnership is so mesmerizing, not only because of how glamourous they look together but also because it seems to be one of equality. “It is easy to see that Meghan is not looking for Harry or this marriage to complete her,” relationship expert Sami Wunder told Express. “She may have given up her Hollywood career due to royal protocol but the woman continues to keep herself busy and involved with several charitable interests and even flew all the way to New York to enjoy her baby shower with her own set of personal friends. She is not going to be the woman that looks up to Prince Harry to fulfill each and every one of her needs, as many first time married women would do.”

Prince Harry married Meghan Markle because she’s like Princess Diana

At present, the Sussexes’ launch of their new Archewell foundation is on hold due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, and the prince is reportedly struggling with being so far from home. However, the pair have never been more committed to one another. In fact, one royal source believes the prince’s love, devotion, and infatuation toward his wife has to do with his late mother, Princess Diana.

“Harry went for and married Meghan because she’s like Diana,” Princess Diana’s former butler, Paul Burrell told Closer Magazine. “Both women who would always stand up for what they believe in and wouldn’t be pushovers. “I think the main difference between them is that Meghan has a game plan, whereas Diana was young and naïve.”

We’re very excited to see the game plan that the Sussexes have outlined for their future, we think the late princess would be very proud.
