Meghan Markle has given birth to a baby boy! Prince Harry confirmed the news today from Windsor via the BBC, stating “I am very excited to announce that Meghan and myself had a baby boy early this morning.” Although many of the details are still under wraps, their firstborn child arrived at 5:26 A.M. When will Prince Harry and Meghan Markle share their baby’s name?

During his on-camera interview at Windsor, Prince Harry confirmed that the public will meet the baby in “two day’s time.” Will the Duke and Duchess of Sussex share their baby’s name with the public then? It’s unclear. However, it makes sense.

In the past, royal parents pose for photos with their new baby shortly after his or her arrival. Then, about a week or so later, they release a statement announcing their baby’s name. However, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s situation is a little different, which means they could take Wednesday’s photocall as an opportunity to share the royal baby’s name with eager fans and members of the public. Only time will tell!
