Prince Harry Reportedly Looked Bored And Ignored Meghan Markle At Misha Nonoo’s Wedding
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were on hand to watch designer Misha Nonoo exchange vows with oil magnate Michael Hess over the weekend. Despite the wedding’s backdrop being a gorgeous villa in Italy, the event drew attention to Harry’s behavior at a previous ceremony. While Harry and Markle supported Nonoo in her wedding, previous photos from a different ceremony show the Duke of Sussex looking bored throughout the wedding and completely ignoring Markle.
Markle and Harry dazzle at Nonoo’s wedding
Harry and Markle dressed to impress for the sunset wedding, which was held inside a 17th-century estate in Rome. Meghan Markle is good friends with Nonoo, who was reportedly instrumental in bringing her and Harry together.
Markle also recently partnered with Nonoo for her new capsule collection. The fashion lineup includes items women can wear for a job interview. The project was a collaborative effort with the charity, Smart Works, which helps struggling women find careers.
Back to the wedding, Prince Harry rocked a black suit for the occasion while the former Suits star showed up in a Valentino black dress worth over $9,000.
Although the Sussexes looked stunning at the event, the wedding brought up old photos of the two looking absolutely miserable at another ceremony from several years back.
A bored Prince Harry ignores Meghan Markle at the wedding
Judi James, an expert in interpreting body language, has examined the photos from a previous wedding and believes Harry gave Markle the cold shoulder because he was bored.
According to Express, the wedding in question was back in the spring of 2017, several months after Harry and Markle started dating. At the time, the pair flew to Jamaica to attend the nuptials of Harry’s pal, Tom Inskip, and Lara Hughes-Young.
James looked at photos of Harry and Markle during the reception and argued that the Duke of Sussex was completely bored with his future wife.
“In a nutshell, he looks bored and distant and she’s trying to get his attention,” James shared. “Meghan is very much trying to signal them as a trophy couple, but he’s not playing ball.”
Because it was still early in their relationship, James noted that Prince Harry should have been smitten at the time of the wedding. Instead, he failed to give his full attention to Meghan Markle and spent most of the ceremony talking with his guy friends.
James also does not believe royal protocol was to blame for Harry’s actions. Markle, on the other hand, was doing her best not to be ignored and wanted everyone to know that they were a couple.
Despite the interpretation, it took Harry and Markle less than a year to get engaged. The pair tied the knot in May of 2018 and recently welcomed their first child, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.
Markle and Harry start their tour of South Africa
Markle and Harry did not waste any time following Nonoo’s wedding and have already started their highly anticipated tour of South Africa.
The family flew to Cape Town this week and will remain in South Africa for 10 more days. Other stops include Botswana, Malawi, and Angola.
Markle was spotted exiting the plane with her 5-month-old son, who is joining them for his first trip abroad. Archie donned a white knit cap for the outing, which is practically the same thing Princess Diana chose for Harry when he visited the country in 1985.
After securing a place to stay, the pair left Archie behind with a nanny as they attended a royal event. An inside source claimed that Archie will make at least one public appearance with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle before the tour is out.
Archie meets Arch
Once they landed, Harry revealed that the flight was hard on baby Archie, who is completely exhausted. Fortunately, Markle and Harry appeared well-rested and were enthusiastic about starting the first leg of their tour.
Archie seemed fully recovered by day three when Harry and Markle brought him to meet Archbishop Desmond Tutu. Archie rocked an eco-conscious romper from H&M which retails for around $16.
Harry is expected to visit several of his patronages while in South Africa, further cementing the couple’s plan to continue their work in the region.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have not commented on the wedding reports.
