Prince Harry just showed off what a caring and attentive dad he is — only you have to kind of squint to see him in action, as eagle-eyed royal fans spotted him in the background of an interview with his wife.
Can you find Prince Harry?
During the ITV documentary, Harry & Meghan: An African Journey, Markle is seen giving an interview with anchor Tom Bradby about their visit to Africa.
Bradby asks how things are going and Markle shares, “It’s a lot with a five-month-old,” adding, “Any mom can relate to that. But he’s doing really well, he’s been sleeping really well.”
As she spoke, fans noticed that in the background, reflected in the window, Prince Harry appeared to be rocking the baby back and forth.
Suddenly, whatever Markle was talking about took a backseat to the background action because it was too cute.
Markle shared highlights of the tour
In her interview with Bradby, Markle discusses the “optimism” she’s experienced during the royal tour.
She said: “You can talk about all the issues that are important to you and really advocate for them, but when you’re on the ground and you’re experiencing it and you’re seeing what’s happening, I think it resonates in a different way.”
Markle continued: “But the biggest takeaway, that I’m struck by is how much optimism there is. These women and these young girls especially are really just so empowered and that’s uplifting, right? You go there and you just feel it so deeply inside. So it was a really strong start for our trip… it’s only day 2.”
Royal fans could barely focus on her message, however, as one Twitter user admitted: “Meghan is saying something important but I can’t keep my eyes off the duo in the left side corner… Harry and Archie.”
Another fan tweeted: “Did anyone see Harry rocking Archie in the back as Meghan was talking after the visit to the Archbishop? I know no ones gonna read this… but it was soooo sweet. A small highlight in this documentary.”
Archie’s latest update is too cute
In addition to the bonus footage of Prince Harry and Archie, fans also got a bit of a baby update and it’s pretty cute. First, Archie loved Africa and second, he was very “chatty” during their visit.
In footage that appeared in the documentary, Harry shared: “He clearly loves Africa as well because he was out there looking out the window.”
He added: “He’s found his voice now. He is bouncing up and down, he’s making more noise than he has ever made before and he is smiling all the time.”
Markle discussed how “chatty” Archie had been, noting: “We thought he was happy before. He is the happiest here. He’s been so chatty the past two days.”
The duchess also reflected on the important memory they made when the family met with Archbishop Desmond Tutu, sharing: “It is not lost on us, what a huge and significant moment that is. I think Archie will look back at that in so many years and understand that right at the beginning of his life he was fortunate enough to have this moment with one of the best and most impactful leaders of our time. It is really special.”
