Prince Louis’ Birth Certificate Reveals Something Surprising About Kate Middleton

Prince Louis is the youngest child of Prince William and Kate Middleton. They introduced him on the steps of the Lindo Wing at St. Mary’s Hospital last year, though for the most part, they’ve kept him out of the spotlight ever since. However, there are certain parts of royal life that can’t be kept as private as the royals would like. And one of those is birth certificates. It turns out, Louis’ birth certificate reveals something surprising about Kate Middleton.

William and Kate welcomed Louis in April 2018

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge welcomed Prince George back in 2013 and Princess Charlotte in 2015. And they somewhat surprised people when they announced that they would be having a third. Louis was born in April 2018, and since then, William and Kate have done their best to keep the young prince out of the public eye. They’ve only shared a select few photos of him and don’t bring him to public engagements. During times when George and Charlotte do attend events with their parents, Louis is often back home, seemingly with a nanny. William and Kate are doing their best to raise their kids as normally as possible and likely don’t want Louis so exposed to the spotlight just yet.

Kate introduced all of her children on the steps of the Lindo Wing

Kate followed royal tradition when all of her children were born. She gave birth in the Lindo Wing at St. Mary’s Hospital, and only a few hours later, she was released and introducing her baby to the world on the Lindo Wing’s steps. When Louis was born, the public saw George and Charlotte being walked in by their father, and Charlotte’s wave became one of her most memorable moments as a child.

Louis’ birth certificate reveals that Kate formally refers to herself as ‘princess’ not ‘duchess’

Though William and Kate have done their best to keep Louis’ life private, there are some things that are still available to the public — such as his birth certificate. CNBC published a copy of the young prince’s birth certificate, and it revealed something interesting about Kate. Though Queen Elizabeth granted Kate the royal title of Duchess of Cambridge, she formally referred to herself as Princess of the United Kingdom under “occupation.” William referred to himself as Prince of the United Kingdom, though that doesn’t come as a surprise, since that’s his title. However, it’s shocking that Kate is formally referred to as “princess” despite the queen taking those titles away out of respect for Princess Diana.

The two have been rumored to be trying for another baby

Louis is almost a year and a half old, and there have been rumors that William and Kate are trying for a fourth baby. However, nothing has been confirmed, and ever since Prince Harry made a comment about not having more than two in regards to overpopulation, it’s possible William and Kate think differently about adding a new member to the family. For now, they are busy caring for their three little ones.
