Is Prince Louis Walking Yet? Kate Middleton Just Gave An Update On the Baby Prince

Prince Louis is the youngest child and second son of Prince William and Duchess Kate Middleton. The baby prince was born April 23, 2018. Though we’ve seen adorable photos of the prince at his Christening and his grandfather, Prince Charles’ 70th birthday celebration we’ve seen a lot less of Prince Louis then we’ve seen of his siblings.

However, from what we know about Prince Louis so far, we know that he is lively and energetic, but is Prince George and Princess Charlotte’s little brother walking yet?

Is Prince Louis walking yet?

Recently, while visiting Dundee, Scotland with Prince William, Duchess Kate Middleton gave the sweetest update on Prince Louis. Apparently, the baby prince just hit a major milestone, but he’s not quite walking just yet. Middleton told attendees at the V&A Museum, “Louis is a fast crawler which means he’ll be walking soon enough.”

This isn’t the first time Duchess Kate Middleton has given an update on her youngest son. Just before Christmas in 2018, during her walkabout in Leicester, she gave an update on all of her kiddos. She told the crowd, “They’re doing well, thank you. They’re getting excited for Christmas time because they’ve started all their Christmas songs and Christmas trees are going up. It was really sweet. And Louis’s getting big. I can’t believe he’s like seven months now. He’s getting to be a big boy.”

What does Prince Louis’ nursery look like?

When Prince Louis was born,  the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge had no clue if they were having a boy or a girl. Therefore, when it came to his nursery, which was also his brother and sister’s nursey at one point, the royal couple decided to decorate with a classic theme, Peter Rabbit. Based on the classic children’s book, Prince Louis’ nursery is full of warm blues and whimsy.

According to reports, designer, Dragons of Walton Street, “wanted to create a space for both the prince and the parents. The room is believed to be a space where the little prince can rest and play and were a mom and the nanny, Maria, can feel comfortable.” Prince George also had a Peter Rabbit theme for his nursery.

Why don’t we hear much about Prince Louis?

With news of Princess Charlotte joining Prince George at his school, Thomas’s Battersea — and Meghan Markle and Prince Harry welcoming their first child in the Spring of 2019, there is a lot of royal news. The reason why we don’t hear much about Prince Louis is that there’s not much to say about the tiny tot just yet.

Also, with everyone else in the British Royal Family dominating the news, the Baby Prince hasn’t been given the spotlight.
