Prince William and Kate Middleton Have Found Support From This 1 Person Following Harry and Meghan’s Exit

Prince William and Kate Middleton are still dealing with the fallout of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s exit. The couple announced their stunning departure at the beginning of the year, and the royals are still figuring out how to move forward. While everyone is doing their part to pick up the slack, Prince William and Kate have found support from a member of her family, who has been a “stabilizing” force in the wake of Megxit.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle call it quits

By now, most people have heard about Harry and Meghan’s decision to step down as senior members of the royal family. After battling negative headlines in the British press for years, the couple decided to quit their royal duties in favor of a quieter life away from the cameras.

Last month, Harry rejoined Meghan in Canada, where she has been staying for the past couple of months with their baby boy, Archie Harrison.

As part of their plan to leave the royals, Meghan and Harry will live in Canada for part of the year and will become financially independent from the crown.

They will also lose their HRH royal titles, though they will remain the Duke and Duchess of Sussex for the foreseeable future. The couple also plans on continuing with their charitable organization, Sussex Royal, despite their exit.

Here is how Prince William and Kate Middleton are handling Megxit

Royal watchers have expressed some very strong opinions about Harry and Meghan’s exit, but Prince William and Kate have remained largely silent on the issue.

The couple returned to their royal duties last month with a quick visit to West Yorkshire’s Bradford Hall. William spoke at the event and noted that dealing with challenges is an important thing in life.

“We just need to deal with them and we need to move forward rather than just be stuck in paralysis and pretend they don’t happen,” he stated.

William added that he and his wife are going to make it a point to travel more throughout the UK and visit areas they normally don’t get to see.

Kate has also made a few public appearances since Megxit, including a stop by a children’s hospital. Throughout their public engagements, Kate Middleton and Prince William have put on a united front, which is par for the course for the royals.

But behind-the-scenes, the couple has reportedly leaned on a member of her family as they continue to deal with Harry and Meghan’s departure.

The Cambridges are leaning on this one person

Prince William and Kate have reportedly found an immense amount of support from her mother, Carole Middleton. According to Daily Mail, royal expert Phil Dampier claims that Carole has been both “stabilizing” and “supportive” as William and Kate deal with a life without the Sussexes.

“Carole will be a stabilizing and supportive force in the background, looking after [her grandchildren] when needs be but also just being there for them,” Dampier shared.

Kate has always been close to her parents, and William has also developed a close bond with the Middletons over the years.

In fact, a second source says that William views Carole as a second mom and has leaned on her advice, especially in the absence of his real mother, Princess Diana.

William and Kate can use all the help they can get following Harry and Meghan’s exit. Not only are they having to deal with the negative press surrounding Megxit, but they will likely have to take on more responsibility moving forward.

Inside Prince William’s relationship with his in-laws

Dampier added that Carole is a huge influence on William and Kate. For Prince William, Carole and her husband, Michael Middleton, have provided him with a solid family structure outside of his abnormal upbringing as a royal.

William and Kate have reportedly visited Carole and Michael several times in the wake of Harry and Meghan’s announcement. A source also claims that Carole has spent time with William and Kate at Anmer Hall, offering them support as the royals deal with the drama.

Prince William and Kate Middleton have not commented on the reports surrounding Megxit. They are doing their best, however, to deal with the issue behind-the-scenes as they continue their usual royal duties.
