Prince William is Reportedly Planning a Secret Getaway For Kate Middleton’s Birthday

Christmas may have just ended but Prince William is already planning a luxurious getaway for Kate Middleton’s birthday. The Duchess of Cambridge turns 38 on January 9, and William knows exactly how he wants to surprise her for the big day. So where is William planning on taking Kate and their three little ones, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis?

Inside Prince William’s secret getaway

An inside source claims that William is planning a secret trip to Mustique for Kate’s 38th birthday bash. And by the sound of it, he’s not sparing any expense for the mother of three.

“Now, William wants to whisk their family away from it all on a no-expenses-spared trip to Mustique as a surprise for Kate. A big surprise!” the source shared. “They’ll stay in a $15 million, seven-bedroom mansion with an infinity pool, private chef, screening room, gym and tennis court.”

The source added that Prince William wants to make the trip extra special for Kat and has a slew of activities planned. This includes a trip to the spa, a surfing lesson, and even a diving adventure. How fun.

According to Page Six, the Duke of Cambridge is also planning on bringing the three kiddos along and hopes to enjoy some quality family time away from the palace.

Luckily, there are lots of things for children to do in Mustique, from playing at the beach to going on a nature trip, so everyone is expected to have a blast. Given all of the drama the royals have faced in recent months, the trip will likely be a welcome break from the action.

The Cambridges enjoy a Christmas ski trip

While Prince William is looking forward to surprising Kate Middleton on her birthday, the family is also planning a ski trip over the holidays. The Cambridges joined the rest of the royal family at Sandringham this year and are reportedly extending their Christmas break with a ski outing.

“The Cambridges want to head out skiing early in the new year with the children,” a source revealed.

The insider added that Kate’s mom and dad, Carole Middleton and Michael Middleton, will also be joining the ski trip. The family reportedly left for the outing after Boxing Day.

One of the reasons Kate’s family is coming along is because they are all celebrating her brother, James Middleton’s, engagement. James recently popped the big quest to Alize Thevenet.

Prince William and Kate Middleton are fond of ski trips, though this will be their first with their youngest child, Louis. Kate gave birth to Louis in the spring of 2018. We do not know where the family is skiing, but it sounds like they are going to have a blast.

Prince George and Princess Charlotte greet fans

Royal watchers were thrilled when George and Charlotte joined their parents for the Christmas Day service at Sandringham this year. The appearance was their first and we now know exactly how Prince William prepared them for the big day.

An inside source claims that William took George and Charlotte to St. Mary Magdalene Church a few days ahead of the service. He taught them how to greet people and got them familiar with the surroundings.

On Christmas Day, some 2,000 fans were in attendance to watch the royals arrive at the church. George and Charlotte did an amazing job mingling with the onlookers in what proved to be an adorable debut.

Charlotte, however, stole the show when she offered Queen Elizabeth a curtsey and later hugged an audience member who was in a wheelchair.

This may have been their first Christmas Day outing, but we hope there will be plenty more in the years to come.

A royal family Christmas

Prince William and Kate Middleton, of course, also enjoyed their time at Sandringham with the rest of the royal family, including Queen Elizabeth.

While fans loved seeing George and Charlotte in action, there were a few royals who did not make the event. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle spent the holidays with her mother, Doria Ragland, in Canada.

Although Prince Andrew was at Sandringham for the Christmas festivities, he did not make an appearance with the rest of the royals on Christmas Day. Andrew stepped down from his royal duties in light of his controversial connection to Jeffrey Epstein.

It is unclear when Prince William and Kate Middleton will return to their official royal duties, but it might not be until after her secret getaway. Hopefully, the couple will share some pics from the party on social media for fans to enjoy as well.
