Princess Charlotte and Prince George’s Sweet Relationship With Baby Archie Is Revealed
For months, royal fans around the world eagerly awaited Archie Harrison‘s arrival. When Archie finally made his appearance into the world, the new parents seemed as happy as can be. Meghan Markle described the first few days of motherhood as being like “a dream,” while Prince Harry gushed that his new son was just “to die for.”
When we take into consideration how much everyone was so eagerly anticipating Archie‘s birth, many people may forget that the royal family was also excitedly looking forward to welcoming their newest member. The children of Prince William and Kate Middleton, in particular, were likely very happy about the prospect of a new cousin. So, what is Prince George and Princess Charlotte’s relationship with Archie like?
Do the Cambridge kids have any other first cousins?
The only other first cousin that Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis have is the son of Pippa Middleton Matthews: Arthur. Born shortly after Markle and Prince Harry’s spectacular royal wedding, Arthur technically isn’t royalty, although he is about as close as one can get!
According to E! News, the Cambridge kids and Matthews’ son will most likely have a special bond between them. With Middleton and Matthews being as close as they are, there is a good chance that the children will spend a lot of time together. They are all fairly close in age and will be able to share a lot of wonderful experiences throughout their childhood.
When did Archie and the Cambridge kids meet?
According to Us Weekly, the newest member of the royal family had the opportunity to meet his cousins at the latest Trooping the Colour. Although Markle and Prince Harry were not able to appear on the balcony of Buckingham Palace that day, as the royals typically do, it didn’t stop Archie from being introduced to the children of Prince William and Middleton, who were no doubt delighted to finally see the baby.
Which other family members have met Archie?
Naturally, Markle’s mother, Doria Ragland, was present for the birth of her first grandson. She isn’t the only one, as Town & Country reports that Markle and Prince Harry have had more than a few happy visitors showing up at their home with congratulations and warm wishes. Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip met Archie within a few days of his birth, and it is said that her majesty is over the moon about her new great-grandson. Prince William and Middleton paid a visit to the new baby when he was about a week old, and of course, Prince Charles happily came to see his newest grandson a few days later.
What is Archie’s relationship like with Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis?
As we would expect from the sweet Cambridge children, they absolutely adore their new cousin already. They are constantly asking if they can see him, and when they do, they love the time that they get to spend with Archie. It is wonderful that they feel the same way about Archie, and are getting along with him so well.
