Princess Charlotte Has 1 Major Request On Her Christmas List

The holiday season is upon us and though we enjoy celebrating Christmas just like everyone else — no one loves the holidays more than children. The kiddos of the British Royal Family are no exception. Though they live their lives in the spotlight, Duchess Kate Middleton and Prince William have been adamant about giving their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis a normal childhood.

One of the things the Cambridges allow their children to indulge in is their love for Father Christmas (we know him as Santa Clause here in the States.) Each year, the little royals write out their list of requests just like many other children across the globe.

This year, Princess Charlotte, who turned four-years-old this past May can really appreciate and understand the delights of Christmas. In fact, the one thing she listed on her Christmas list is pretty iconic.

This is how Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis spend Christmas

Though they will be spending Christmas with their parents at Queen Elizbeth II and Prince Philip’s Sandrigum estate — Prince William and Middleton will make sure their littles have loads of fun. Since Princess Charlotte and Prince George will be on break from school, Prince Louis will be pleased to play with his siblings all day long.

Each year around this time, the Cambridges head to their Norfolk estate Anmer. The estate provides plenty of privacy for the family and has plenty of space for the children. During the break, the children typically go sledding, swim, write their letters to Father Christmas, and bake Christmas treats.

On Christmas Eve, the family will head to the queen’s house to eat dinner and open gifts. Former royal chef Darren McGrady told the Express, “The royals are of German descent, so they weave in German traditions to their celebrations. After afternoon tea, they open gifts on Christmas Eve, as is the German tradition.”

Princess Charlotte asked for a pony for Christmas

Like her great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II — Princess Charlotte adores horses. So much so, that the royal tot has asked Father Christmas for a pony this Christmas. It looks like she might get her wish — she just may have to wait a little while longer. An insider told Daily Mail, “She’s asked for a pony, but might have to wait until next year because William thinks she’s too young.”

Though Prince Louis will probably be content with the wrapping paper — we do know what Prince George has requested. “George is really into tennis and has asked for a new racket and a football table,” the insider revealed.

This is what Princess Charlotte and Prince George will receive for Christmas

The princess might have to wait until next year for her pony, but we do know what’s waiting under the tree for her this year. “They’ll both be receiving children’s cookery sets because they love making a mess in the kitchen!” a place insider explained.

Prince George and Princess Charlotte adore cooking and baking with their mother, Duchess Kate Middleton, so this seems like a lovely gift to us.
