Princess Charlotte might not be directly in line to sit on the British throne, but the tiny royal has already stolen our hearts. Though Duchess Kate Middleton and Prince William have decided to shelter their only daughter and her brothers, Prince George and Prince Louis –the duke and duchess have been more than happy to share little tidbits from their home lives with the public.

From what we can tell, Princess Charlotte and her brothers are having super normal carefree childhoods. They enjoy playing outside, going to school, and doing fun activities. We bet you’ll also be delighted to learn more about Princess Charlotte’s favorite TV show.

What is Princess Charlotte’s favorite TV show?

Just like millions of children around the world —Princess Charlotte runs to the television when Peppa Pig is on. The wildly popular British animated series has been delighting children since it first premiered in 2004. Kids adore watching the precocious Peppa and her little brother George. (We bet the princess gets a kick out of that.)

The official description for Peppa Pig reads, “Peppa is a loveable, cheeky little piggy who lives with her little brother George, Mummy Pig and Daddy Pig. Peppa’s favourite things include playing games, dressing up, days out and jumping in muddy puddles. Her adventures always end happily with loud snorts of laughter.” The show is so popular that even children who don’t live in the United Kingdom have begun talking with a British accent.

What is Prince George’s favorite TV show?

Like his little sister, Prince George also has a favorite TV show – the-British children’s TV series, Octonauts. However, according to Prince William, his firstborn son adores movies more than TV. This makes sense considering the duke is a massive cinephile, and he’s also President of the British Academy Film Awards (BAFTAs). In Oct. 2017 the prince revealed, “He quite likes The Lion King, we’ve watched that a few times.” The little prince is also a fan of the Lego Movie franchize. The little royals were also delighted by the Oscar-winning Disney film, Coco. And, Princess Charlotte seems to have developed quite the obsession with the Disney Princesses which is hilarious because we doubt she knows she’s royal at this point.

Kate Middleton and Prince William television rules

Though Princess Charlotte and Prince George love their television and movie time, Kate Middleton and Prince William limit their children’s screen time. The little royals are allowed just one hour of TV a day because their parents want them to play with real toys and to enjoy spending time outside.

A royal insider told US Weekly, “As two people who grew up without gadgets for entertainment themselves, William and Kate are firm believers in toys, outdoor play, and encouraging an active imagination. They’re very much a normal family.”
