Does Princess Charlotte look like the Queen?

Kensington Palace released the photos today, ahead of Princess Charlotte’s fourth birthday — and royal fans are already chattering about who she most looks like.

Many fans see dad Prince William in their little princess, while others believe she’s a Middleton mini-me. There are plenty of fans, however, who think she is the spitting image of her great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth. No doubt, she has a sparkle in her eye in the stunning images.

Kate Middleton took the beautiful photos

Middleton, as she does for all of her children, took the stunning photos of Charlotte, capturing different expressions in two different outfits.

Kensington Palace shared the portraits on social media, noting: “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to share three new photographs of Princess Charlotte ahead of her fourth birthday tomorrow. The photographs were taken in April by The Duchess at Kensington Palace and at their home in Norfolk.”

In one photo, Charlotte wears a blue floral print dress and tennis shoes while sitting in the grass, with a big grin on her face. In the other two shots, the princess is in action, wearing a darling gray cardigan paired with a navy plaid skirt and tights. She’s holding a flower in the garden in one shot and in the other, she sits perched atop a fence.

Princess Charlotte’s adorable outfits win over fans

Princess Charlotte’s outfits are so adorable and the floral print dress is available online. The Betsy Dress from Trotters Childrenswear & Accessories sells for $94 and is available in sizes 2 through 8/9 years.

Sophie Mirman, founder and CEO of Trotters, remarked how “thrilling” it is for the princess to be wearing one of their styles, telling HELLO!: “It’s wonderful to see the young Princess wearing a dress designed by and made exclusively for Trotters using an iconic British fabric from Liberty along with our much loved Hampton Canvas footwear. It is thrilling for a small family business like Trotters to receive such fabulous support.”

She likes to play with slime

Charlotte, whose full name is Charlotte Elizabeth Diana Cambridge, is Prince William and Middleton’s only daughter and will be starting school in September.

Despite being a princess, Charlotte isn’t above getting messy when she plays, as Middleton recently revealed that her daughter loves to play with slime, a favorite among most kids her age.

When Middleton was speaking with a girl named Narriyah during her recent visit to the Kantor Centre of Excellence at the Anna Freud National Centre for Families and Children, she shared: “Charlotte, my daughter, she dropped hers [slime] on the floor and it was pink and ended up brown and covered in so much mud. It ends up all gooey, doesn’t it?”

The girl’s grandmother shared that Kate was “lovely” while speaking with Narriyah, noting, “It was quite funny that they were talking about slime, of all things.”
