Priyanka Chopra Was Totally Into Nick Jonas’ ‘Midway’ Mustache
Priyanka Chopra is her husband Nick Jonas’ number one fan — even when he sports a semi-creepy mustache for a movie role. Now that’s love. Jonas recently confirmed that his wife was actually pretty into the facial hair.
Jonas rocks a slim mustache for his new movie
When Jonas chatted with Entertainment Tonight at the movie’s premiere on Nov. 5, he explained, “She liked it. Her father had [a mustache], and so she was into it.”
He added, “Then I said, ‘I’m taking this off the minute I wrap,’ and then she was like ‘You know what? I realize I don’t like it as much as I thought I did.’”
Jonas, who plays Aviation Machinist Mate Bruno Gaido in Midway, admitted that his “French” mustache did “need some darkening.”
Jonas is a doting husband
Chopra told India Today: “Nick told me ‘I know you are doing a difficult movie and I know you need your focus on it. And let me handle the logistics. I’ll take over the last bit of things.’”
She continued: “So he used to sit at home while I was on the set and decide who is sitting where, seating charts and rooming charts and he would do all of that so that I could focus on the movie.”
“I have to give a lot of credit to Nick because he came down earlier than he was supposed to,” she added.
Chopra admitted she’s a Jonas Brothers groupie
Chopra admitted during an Oct. 10 interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon that she wasn’t a Jonas Brothers fan until she married Nick.
She revealed: “I didn’t really know very much, and I’m going to get killed for saying this, but before I got married and before I started dating Nick, I didn’t know too much about the euphoria that is the Jonas Brothers.”
She eventually came to understand what all the fuss was about, sharing, “When I started going to their concerts, just seeing like 30,000 people singing every lyric… like I’m a full groupie now.”
Chopra also shared her thoughts on married life, telling E! News: “I have a sense of contentment. I feel like that’s the best part of being married.”
She called it “the most surprising part,” but explained, “Every single day when I wake up I’m like, ‘Oh, I have a home. Like, this is my home. This person is my home.’ And I didn’t know that feeling outside of my parents. Like, it’s like, ‘Oh, this is the family that I have chosen.’ It’s family.”
As for whether or not they’re planning on having kids soon, she is open to the idea but isn’t in a rush, sharing: “I’ve wanted to experience motherhood since when I was 12 years old. I love kids, I’ve always wanted to have them. And whenever it’s time, I’m sure it will.”
