Priyanka Chopra Reveals Who She Misses While Isolating With Nick Jonas
Many celebrity couples are isolating together during the pandemic. That includes Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas. Chopra revealed how they’ve been keeping busy at home. Find out who she misses while staying at home with the former coach of The Voice.
Nick Jonas is teaching Priyanka Chopra how to play piano
Some people are using their time at home to take up new hobbies and learn new skills. That includes the movie star. Jonas is teaching Chopra how to play piano.
“I’ve also started the piano — I make my husband teach me,” Chopra told Vogue. “I’ve never played, but I’ve always wanted to learn an instrument, so I make him give me a half-hour or 45-minute lesson every day.”
She also called Jonas her “in-house physical trainer, and in-house writing partner.” The actor revealed how she’s been keeping active physically. “I’ve taken a hip-hop dance class too, because I miss dancing!” she said.
The couple has also shared pictures of their time at home together on Instagram. Some of those pictures show them cuddling together with their dogs.
Jonas was keeping busy during isolation by being a coach on The Voice. But the season ended and it was announced his spot will be filled by Gwen Stefani next season. Chopra has revealed one thing that makes her feel “normal” while staying at home.
Chopra has kept wearing heels during isolation
Everyone’s style has changed to being more comfortable with staying inside. But Chopra revealed that she still wears Christian Louboutin heels. That doesn’t mean she isn’t wearing other comfortable clothes. “They look good with sweatpants!” she said.
“If you want to feel a little bit more normal right now, you wear an amazing pair of Louboutins with your sweatshirt, put your hair down, add some red lipstick — and you’re dressed up for dinner,” she told InStyle.
Chances are most people aren’t rocking the same style in isolation. But Chopra says she is missing family like many other people at this time.
She misses her family in India
The couple talked to British Vogue about staying home with her husband during the pandemic. She talked about missing her family in India.
“Although it has been really, really difficult being apart from my mom and brother, who are both in India, I’m so grateful to have spent time with my husband, family and dogs, but mostly with my four year old niece, Krishna,” Chopra said. “It’s been incredible watching her discover new things.”
The actor revealed what she’s doing to keep busy at home. “Creativity has always been an outlet for me to relieve anxiety,” she said. “I’ve been writing my book, reading scripts and developing content for film and TV – and I’m trying to learn the piano.”
Production of most TV shows and movies are still on hold. Time will tell if fans will get to see the work Chopra has been working on after the pandemic.
